Emmeline Dorothy Elizabeth Black (née Morrow), Magherafelt

The death has occurred of the late Emmeline Dorothy Elizabeth Black (née Morrow), July 13 2025, (suddenly) at Marriott House, Magherafelt, formerly of Union Place, Cookstown. Devoted Mother of Lorraine (Fred), Adrian and Arnold, a very proud Nana and dearest Sister of Alexander and the late Jean, Bert and Kathleen. House and Funeral strictly private. Family flowers only please. Forever loved and sadly missed by her loving Family.

 

Terry (John Terence) Butcher, 19 Mill Square, Ballybogey, Ballymoney (Formerly of Magilligan)

The death has occurred of the late Terry (John Terence) Butcher, July 13 2025, peacefully at home (surrounded by his loving family and friends), 19 Mill Square, Ballybogey, Ballymoney and formerly of Magilligan. Dearly loved husband of the late Janet, loving father of Roisin and Terri-Ann, father-in-law of Shane and Paul and much loved grandad of Jack, Emily, Anna and Shannon. Also loving son of the late John and Maria Butcher (Magilligan) and brother of MaryEllen (Patsy), Christopher (Mary) and the late James Alphonsus and a dear uncle, friend and neighbour. Family and friends are welcome to call at the family home on Wednesday and Thursday. Requiem Mass in St. Aidan’s Church, Magilligan on Friday at 1.00pm followed by interment in Portstewart Cemetery (arriving approx.2.45pm). Family flowers only please. Michael Conwell, 51 Lettershadoney

The death has taken place of the late Michael Conwell, July 13 2025, beloved husband of the late Lily, loving father of Noeleen, Siobhan, J.J. and the late Cathy, father-in-law of Nolan, Ash, Paul and Judy, dear granda of Shane, Jack, Eden, Matthew and Andrew, son of the late John James and May and dear brother of John, Bernadette, Mary, Lawrence, Katie, Terence, J.P. and the late Jim, Rose, Noel, Gerard, Geraldine, Anne and baby Leo. His remains will be reposing in his home, 51 Lettershadoney. Funeral from there on Wednesday at 10.25am for 11o'clock Requiem Mass in St Mary's Church, Tamnaherin. Interment afterwards in the adjoining cemetery. Sacred Heart of Jesus have mercy on his soul.

 

Ivan Cromie, 16 Prospect Road, Portstewart

The death has taken place of the late Ivan Cromie, July 12 2025, peacefully at Altnagelvin Hospital, 16 Prospect Road, Portstewart. Dearly beloved husband of Joy, loving father of Alan, Karen and the late Brian, father-in-law of Rosemary, Marshall and Janet and much loved grandfather of David, Aaron and Scott. House strictly private. Funeral service in Agherton Parish Church, Portstewart on Friday at 11.00am followed by interment in Portstewart Cemetery. No flowers please. Cathy McCrossan (née Conwell), 119 Lettershandoney

It is with deep sorrow and great sadness that we announce the passing of Cathy McCrossan (née Conwell), July 13 2025, beloved wife of Paul, loving mother of Matthew and Andrew, mother-in-law of Rachel, much loved daughter of the late Michael and Lily Conwell and dear sister of Noeleen, Siobhan and JJ. Her remains will be reposing in her home, 119 Lettershandoney, from 3.00pm on Tuesday. Funeral from there on Thursday at 9.20am for 10o’clock Requiem Mass in St Mary’s Church, Tamnaherin. Interment afterwards in the adjoining cemetery. Family time please from 10.00pm to 11.00am. Queen of the Most Holy Rosary pray for her.
