Fay Hegarty (née Murphy), 15 Sheelin Park, Derry

The death has occurred of the late Fay Hegarty (née Murphy), June 4 2025, peacefully, surrounded by her loving family, at Altnagelvin Hospital, beloved wife of the late James (Seamus), dear daughter of the late Ted and Margaret Murphy, cherished sister of Michael, Joe, Terry, Frank and the late Ken and a doting aunt to all her nephews and nieces. Loved and will be sadly missed by the wider family circle, friends and neighbours. Fay will be reposing at her home, 15 Sheelin Park. Funeral leaving her home on Friday, June 6 at 9:30am To Holy Family Church, Ballymagroarty for Requiem Mass at 10:00am. Interment afterwards in the City Cemetery. Family flowers only donations in lieu if wished to Macmillan Cancer Support, North West Cancer Centre, Altnagelvin Hospital. Sacred Heart Of Jesus have mercy on her soul. The death has taken place of the late Donald Walter Alexander (Don) Jackson, June 4 2025, peacefully in Altnagelvin Hospital. Late of 42 Lansdowne Road. Dearly beloved husband of Pat. Devoted Father of James. Dear Father-in-law of Elaine. Mary Kelly (née McCay), 37 Griffith Park, Culmore Road, Derry

It is with deep regret we announce the passing of Mary Kelly (née McCay), June 4 2025, peacefully at the Waterside Hospital after a long illness, beloved wife of Martin, loving mother of Emma-Jayne, Gillian and the late baby Martin Gerard, a devoted grandmother and dear sister of Patrick, William, Sean, Josephine, Anne and the late Kathleen. Mary will be reposing in her home, 37 Griffith Park, Culmore Road. Funeral from there on Saturday at 12.20pm for 1o’clock Requiem Mass in Our Lady of Lourdes Church, Steelstown. Interment afterwards in the City Cemetery. Family time please from 10.00pm to 12noon. The Mass can be viewed live via the church webcam. Queen of the Most Holy Rosary pray for her.

Kathleen McCorkell (née Campbell), 6 Woodburn Park, Derry

The death has taken place of the late Kathleen McCorkell (née Campbell), June 5 2025, peacefully at Altnagelvin Hospital. Beloved wife of Andrew, loving Mother of Lisa. The death has taken place of the late Marie O’Hagan (née Donnelly) (Desertmartin), June 5 2025, Peacefully at home surrounded by her loving family. Much loved wife of Paul. Devoted mother of Ignatius, Tony, Nigel, Jude, Philip, Paula and Marianne. Loving grandmother of Conor, Ellie, Ana, Leah, Kaela, Conan, Killian, Lily, Caolan, Finn, Ryan, Sophie, Ava and Ruby. Daughter of the late Harry and Mary and sister of Elizabeth Bradley, Veronica McIvor, John, Noel, Francis and the late Eileen Ryan. Funeral from her home, 1 Brackagh Road, (Brackaghslievegallion) Moneymore BT45 7RR on Saturday, June 7 at 12.10pm for 1.00pm Requiem Mass in St Patrick’s Church, Keenaught. Interment afterwards in adjoining cemetery. As per Marie’s request, no black ties worn to the funeral. Family flowers only. Teresa O'Kane (née Kelly), 22 Liscannor Park, Foyle Springs, Derry

The death has taken place of Teresa O'Kane (née Kelly), June 5 2025, peacefully at home surrounded by her loving family, beloved wife of the late Danny, loving mother of Paul, Gregory, Sean, Sharon, Joe and Michael, a devoted mother-in-law, grandmother, great-grandmother, aunt and great-aunt, cherished daughter of the late Michael and Ellen Kelly and dear sister of Joan, Anne and the late Maureen, Jim, Evelyn, Doddie and Rita. Teresa will be reposing in her home, 22 Liscannor Park, Foyle Springs. Funeral from there on Saturday at 9.25am for 10o’clock Requiem Mass in St Eugene’s Cathedral. Interment afterwards in the City cemetery.
