The death has occurred of the late Trevor Bailie, May 5 2025, (peacefully) at Antrim Area Hospital, dearly beloved husband of the late Margaret, 21 Parkmore Road, Magherafelt, much loved father of David and Simon, loving Granda of Naomi and Christopher and cherished great-granda of Mya. House strictly private. Family and friends welcome in Garvin’s Funeral Home, 15 Ballyronan Road, Magherafelt, BT45 6BP on Thursday evening (May 8) from 7:00pm – 8:00pm. Funeral service in Garvin’s Funeral Home (May 9) at 12.00noon followed by burial in Polepatrick Cemetery. Family flowers only please. Donations in lieu, if desired, for Cancer Research NI payable to Garvin’s Funeral Service (Donation’s A/c). Lovingly remembered by the entire family circle. “For God so loved the word, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life” John Ch 3 v 16

The death has occurred of Noreen Burns (née Dooley), Peacefully at Foyle Hospice. Beloved Wife of Eamon and Loving Mother of Rosanna and Alison. Loving Grandmother of Oliver and Jacob. Dear Sister of Thomas and Stephen. Funeral from her home, 23 Cooleen Park, Culmore on Friday, May 9 at 9:20am to Our Lady of Lourdes Chapel, Steelstown for Requiem Mass at 10:00am. Interment immediately afterwards in the City Cemetery. Sacred Heart of Jesus have Mercy on her soul.

 

Kenny Campbell, 42 Brookmount Court, Coleraine

The death has taken place of Kenny Campbell, April 28 2025, suddenly at home, 42 Brookmount Court, Coleraine. Dearly loved father of Chris, step-father of Stacie, brother of Mary, Kathleen, Judy, Caroline, Cindy and the late Dessie and partner of Wendy. House strictly private. Patrick Creane, Eglinton

It is with deep regret we announce the passing of Patrick Creane, May 6 2025, at Templemoyle Care Home, beloved son of the late Patrick and Annie, Edenreagh, Eglinton and dear brother of Joseph and the late Mary, Ann, James, Frank, Eugene and Anthony. His remains will be removed from W.J. O’Brien & Son’s Funeral Home, 110 Clooney Road, Eglinton on Thursday at 6.30pm to St. Mary’s Church, Tamnaherin. Requiem Mass will be celebrated on Friday morning at 11o'clock. Interment afterwards in adjoining cemetery. Sacred Heart of Jesus have mercy on his soul.

 

Andrew (Andy) Faulkner, 45 Bonnanaboigh, Burnfoot

The death has taken place of Andrew (Andy) Faulkner, passed away peacefully at his own home on May 3 2025. Late of 45 Bonnanaboigh, Burnfoot. Much loved husband of the late Rosaleen, loving father of Cindy, Marisha and Drew, devoted grandfather of Natasha, Mgan and Joel, Great grandfather of Lara, Halle and Kailen. All welcome to call at his late home on Thursday from 1.00pm to 8.00pm. Funeral service will leave his late home on Friday at 1.00pm for service in Bovevagh Parish Church at 2.00pm followed by burial in adjoining Churchyard. Family flowers only please donations if desired and cheques payable to Macmillan Cancer Care and forwarded to Browns Funeral Directors, 21 Aghanloo Ind Est, Aghanloo Road. Henry (Harry) Gilmour, Alexander House, Derry

The death has occurred of the late Henry (Harry) Gilmour, May 6 2025, peacefully at Altnagelvin Hospital, (late of Alexander House), husband of the late Marie, loving father of Paul, Mairead and the late Deborah, dear son of the late Patrick and Bridget, devoted grandfather of Ciara, Kyle, Leah, Brooke, Maisie-Kate, Jake and Darla, great-grandfather of Jessica, Kadie, Ollie and Donnie. Harry will be sadly missed by his one and only son-in-law Samuel, brothers and sisters and the wider family circle.vHarry will be reposing at his daughter Mairead’s home, 27 Ballymagowan Gardens on Thursday from 11:00am to 10:00pm. Funeral leaving 27 Ballymagowan Gardens on Friday, May 9 at 9:20am to St. Columba’s Church, Long Tower for Requiem Mass at 10:00am. Interment afterwards in the City Cemetery. Sacred Heart Of Jesus have mercy on his soul. Our Lady Of Lourdes intercede for him.

 

Thelma Elizabeth Linton (née Johnston), 120 Moneysharvan Road, Maghera

The death has taken place of Thelma Elizabeth Linton (née Johnston), May 7 2025, (peacefully) at The Macmillan Unit, Antrim Area Hospital, dearly beloved Wife of Will, 120 Moneysharvan Road, Maghera, much loved Mother of Jonathan, Esther and the late Wendy, loving Mother-in-Law of Alison, devoted Grandmother of Emily and Robert and a dear Sister of Joe. House strictly private. All welcome at D. Watters Funeral Home, Tobermore on Thursday evening (May 8) from 7:00pm - 8:30pm. A Service of Thanksgiving for Thelma's Life will take place in D. Watters Funeral Home on Friday, May 9 at 1:30pm, followed by burial in Maghera Presbyterian Churchyard (at 2:30pm approx.). Family flowers only please. Funeral from her home, 31 Grillagh Road, Tirnoney, Maghera on Friday, May 9 2025 at 10.15am for 11.00am Requiem Mass in St. John the Baptist Church, Granaghan. The death has occurred of the late William John Wilson (John) Pollock, May 6 2025, peacefully at Altnagelvin Hospital, beloved husband of the late Rita, Hilltop Farm, 254 Tamnaherin Road, Cross, loving father of Lucinda, Ian, Roland, Elaine and Evelyn, devoted grandfather of Lewis, Stephen, Morgan, Andrew, Alex and Kate, a cherished great-grandfather and dear brother of Etta, Anne, Evelyn, Jim, Florence, Ella, Cecil and the late Mina. His remains will be reposing in his home. Funeral service will take place in Cumber Presbyterian Church on Friday at 2.00pm followed by interment in Upper Cumber Cemetery. Family flowers only please. Donations in lieu of flowers, if wished, to Northern Ireland Air Ambulance. The Lord is my shepherd.
