Margaret Ethel Blair, Claudy

The death has taken place of the late Margaret Ethel Blair, May 1 2025, peacefully at Cornfield Care Home. Loving Mother of Linda, Janice, Alan and Joanne. Dear Mother-in-law of George, Alan, Jo and Gareth and much loved Grandmother and Great Grandmother. A private family service will take place at her Daughter Joanne’s home, 84 Cumber Road at 2.00pm on Saturday 3, May followed by burial in Upper Cumber Cemetery. The death has occurred of the late Dessie Campbell, May 1 2025, Peacefully at his home, 2 Drumachose Park, Limavady. Beloved husband of Julie. Loving father of Ben (Nikita), Logan (Mollie) Eve and Ella. A much loved grandfather of Lilah-Mae. Dear son of the late Helen and Ivan. Son -in-law of Shirley, brother-in-law of Allan and Kim. Deeply regretted by all the family circle. Family and friends welcome at his home on Friday, May 2 from 12noon to 8.00pm. Funeral service in his home on Saturday, May 3 at 11.00am followed by burial in Christ Church Cemetery Main Street, Limavady. Family flowers only please donations in lieu to: Cancer Fund for children. It is with deep regret we announce the passing of Leo Donald Dolan, April 30 2025, peacefully at Causeway Hospital, R.I.P, Apartment 2, Ocean View, 5 The Crescent, Portstewart. Dearly beloved husband of Teresa, loving father of Adrian, Shane, Deniece, Barry, and the late Kevin and much loved grandpa of Torin, Holly, Corbyn, Flynn, Alicia, Faye, Matthew and Caelan. House strictly private. Requiem Mass in St. Mary’s Star of the Sea Church, Portstewart on Saturday at 12noon followed by interment in Agherton Cemetery. No flowers please. Lovingly remembered. “On his soul, sweet Jesus have mercy”.

 

Walter Lynch, 34 Enagh Crescent, Maydown

The death has occurred of the late Walter Lynch, May 1 2025, peacefully at home, much loved Dad of Connor and Phoebe, loving son of the late Jack and Isabel and cherished brother of Elizabeth, Ken, Cyril, Sandra, Foster and twin brother of Pearl. His remains will be reposing in his home, 34 Enagh Crescent, Maydown, on Friday from 12noon - 9.00pm. Funeral service there on Saturday at 2.00pm. Interment afterwards in St Canice’s Parish churchyard, Eglinton. Family flowers only please. Donations in lieu of flowers, if wished, to Marie Curie, 29G Gortrush Industrial Estate, Omagh, BT78 5EJ. Barbara McAllister, Glenview Drive, Limavady

The death has occurred of the late Barbara McAllister, Passed away peacefully at Altnagelvin Hospital on Thursday, May 1 2025. Late of Glenview Drive, Limavady. Much loved wife of the late Jim, loving Mother of Jim and Brian. Family home strictly private. Anyone wishing to pay their respects to Barbara may call at Browns Funeral Home on Friday evening from 7.00pm to 9.00pm. Funeral service will be held in Browns Funeral Home on Saturday at 12noon followed by burial in Enagh Cemetery. Will be lovingly remembered and sadly missed by her entire family circle and friends.

 

Bridget “Bridie” McCartney (née Patton), 191 Foreglen Road, Claudy

We regret to inform you that the death has taken place of Bridget “Bridie” McCartney (née Patton), peacefully at Altnagelvin Hospital on 1st of May 2025.May she rest in peace. Late of 191 Foreglen Road, Claudy, Co Derry. Beloved wife of the late Michael R.I.P. Loving mother of Kevin and fond mother in law of Evelyn. Devoted grandmother of Ellie, Maggie, Keelan, Michael and Kevin Óg. Daughter of the late Thomas and Bridget R.I.P and dear sister of Thomas, Ann and the late Mary, Michael, Rose, Annie, Willie and Veronica R.I.P. Reposing at her late home. Family time 10.00pm to 11.00am. Funeral on Saturday, May 3 leaving her late home at 10.15am for 11.00am Requiem Mass in St Peter and St Paul’s Church, Foreglen. Celine Murray (née Kildea), 61 Carnhill, Derry

The death has occurred of the late Celine Murray (née Kildea), May 1 2025, beloved wife of Brendan, loving mother of Paul, Sharon, Cathal and Martin, mother-in-law of Caroline, Hughie and Gretta, a devoted grandmother and great-grandmother and dear sister of Christina and the late Mary, Katie, Maggie, Teish, Rose, Isobel and John and a much loved aunt. Her remains will be reposing in her home, 61 Carnhill, from 12noon - 10.00pm on Friday. Funeral from there on Saturday at 9.30am for 10o’clock Requiem Mass in St Patrick’s Church, Pennyburn. Interment afterwards in St Mary’s Cemetery, Ardmore. Queen of the Most Holy Rosary pray for her.
