Colm Boyce, Derry and Scotland

The death has occurred at St Bart's Hospital, London of Colm Bryce (Derry and Glasgow), Deeply regretted by his wife Julie, his children Nina and Colm Luka and their mother Jenny Witt, his parents Colm and Rosaleen and his brothers and sisters Patricia ,Margaret, Donal and Sean. Funeral arrangements later.

 

Herbert (Bertie) Ferguson,  22 Annaghmore Road, Castledawson

The death has taken place of the late Herbert (Bertie) Ferguson, April 12 2025, (suddenly at his home), 22 Annaghmore Road, Castledawson, loving and devoted father of Alastair, Elaine and Sharon, dear father-in-law of Christine and Alan, loving granda of Daniel, Jacob, Bella, Brooke and Kenzie and a dear brother. House private. Funeral arrangements later. Family flowers only please. Margaret Glenn, 30 Knockbracken Park, Coleraine

The death has occurred of the late Margaret Glenn, April 11 2025, (peacefully) at her home, 30 Knockbracken Park, Coleraine, dearly beloved wife of the late Herbie, much loved mother of Diane, Cherie and the late Adrian and a dear mother-in-law, devoted nana and great-nana. Service in her home on Tuesday at 11.00am followed by interment in Coleraine Cemetery. Family and friends welcome at her home on Sunday and Monday between the hours of 2.00pm - 4.00pm and 7.00pm – 9.00pm. Family flowers only please. Mary Catherine “Mary O" Lynch (née Ogilby), 34 Lettershandoney Avenue, Co Derry

We regret to inform you that the death has taken place of Mary Catherine “Mary O" Lynch (née Ogilby), peacefully at home on April 2l11 2025. May she rest in peace. Late of 34 Lettershandoney Avenue, Co Derry. Beloved wife of the late Willie R.I.P. Loving mother of Liam and Helena. Devoted grandmother of Steven, Becky (Noel) and great grandmother of Josh and Chloe. Daughter of the late George and Ellen R.I.P and dear sister of Anthony and Bernie. Reposing at her late home. Leaving her late home on Sunday, April 13 at 7.00pm to repose in St Mary’s Church, Tamnaherin overnight for Requiem Mass on Monday at 12noon. Link https://st-marys-tamnaherin5.click2stream.com/. Ivan McAleese, 36 Killowen Drive, Magherafelt

The death has taken place of the late Ivan McAleese (Magherafelt), April 11 2025, peacefully at Antrim Area Hospital surrounded by his loving family, beloved husband of Bridie, loving father of Caroline, Martin, Michelle, Brian and Kevin, dear brother of James and Patricia, father in law of Peter, Hugh, Caroline, Laura and Vicky, solely missed by grandchildren and great grandchildren. Funeral from his home, 36 Killowen Drive on Sunday, April 13 at 1.15pm for 2.00pm Mass in Church of our Lady of the Assumption Magherafelt, interment afterwards in cemetery at Church of St John Milltown. Sacred Heart of Jesus have mercy on his soul. Deeply regretted by his wife, daughters, sons, brother, sister, grandchildren and their partners,  great grandchildren and extended family circle. Family and close friends welcome at house, family time from 10.00pm.

 

Thomas James (Tommy) McClean, 63 Woodburn Park, Derry

The death has taken place of the late Thomas James (Tommy) McClean, April 12 2025, Peacefully at his home, 63 Woodburn Park, Derry (surrounded by his loving family in his 80th year, formerly of Convoy, Co. Donegal) much loved husband of Wilma, devoted dad of Shirley, David, Kerrie, Ivan and the late Julee, loving father-in-law of Sharlene, adored granda of Ceilidh, Kenzie, Jay, Macey, Hayden, Preston and Isaac, dearest brother of Marion, Margaret, Shirley, Ivan and the late Robert and Eileen. Service of Thanksgiving in his late home on Monday, April 14 at 10.00am followed by burial in Ballyoan Cemetery. Family flowers only, donations in lieu if desired to Marie Curie c/o Mrs Ruth Hay, Funeral Director, 24A, Church Road, Altnagelvin, Derry BT47 3QQ. Raymond McConnell, 105 Hatmore Park, Derry

It is with regret we announce the passing of Raymond McConnell, April 11 2025, Peacefully at Altnagelvin Hospital, Beloved husband of Kathleen (née Tyre). Loving father of John Paul, Declan, Brenda and Karen. A Beloved grandfather and great grandfather. son of the late Ambrose and Phyllis. Dear brother to all his brothers and sisters. Raymond will be reposing at his late home, 105 Hatmore Park. Funeral from there on Monday at 9.20am to St Mary's Church, Creggan for Requiem Mass at 10.00am. Arthur Rainey, Limavady

The death has occurred of Arthur Rainey (ex RUC), Passed away peacefully at Edenvale Care Home on April 12 2025. Much loved husband of the late Ruby loving father of Colin (Lizanne), Marion (Steve), Brian (Bernadette), Stephen (Judith), Mark (Jackie), Jonathon (Andrea) also a devoted Grandfather. House Strictly private. All welcome to call pay their respects at Browns Funeral Home on Tuesday evening (April 15) from 7.00pm to 9.00pm. Funeral service will be held in 2nd Limavady Presbyterian Church on Wednesday at 12noon followed by burial in Enagh Cemetery at 1.00pm (all welcome to attend the Funeral). The death has taken place of Margaret Wilson, April 12 2025, peacefully at the Royal Victoria Hospital, 44 Clintonville Gardens, Garvagh. Dearly beloved wife of the late George, loving mother of Richard (and partner Maureen) and the late Jimmy (and partner June), much loved grandmother of Emma, Zoe, Matthew and Annie, great-grandmother of Aaliyah, Tommie, Daniel, Hunter, Faye and Eva and a dear sister. Funeral service in St. Paul’s Parish Church, Garvagh on Tuesday at 1.00pm followed by interment in St. Guaire’s Parish Churchyard, Aghadowey. Family flowers only please.
