The death has occurred of the late Bridget Carey (née McNeill), April 5 2025, (peacefully at home surrounded by her loving family, 24 Greenpark Gardens, Antrim and formerly Cargin), beloved wife of the late Denis, much loved mother of Gerard, Martin, Denis, Michael and Joseph, loving sister of Kate (McElroy), Rosemary (Doherty), Ann (Roberts), Sheila (Gallagher), Lizzie (Mageean) and the late Girlie, Johnny, Paddy, Jimmy, Anthony, Joe, Barney, Lizzie and infant Barney and dear mother in law of Rita, Geraldine, Donna, Maeve and the late Angeline. Bridget’s funeral arrangements have yet to be finalised, we will update the here as soon as they have been finalised. Bridget’s wake will officially begin on Sunday, April 6 at her son Martin’s residence 193 Meadowlands, Antrim, BT41 4EZ, at 5.00pm. Family time requested each day of the wake between 10.00pm and 5.00pm. Deeply regretted by her sorrowing sons, sisters, brothers in law, sisters in law, daughters in law, grandchildren and all the family circle. Our Lady of Lourdes pray for her. Violet Coils (née McCandless), Rosemary Place, Coleraine

The death has taken place of the late Violet Coils (née McCandless), April 5 2025, peacefully at Causeway Hospital, late of Rosemary Place, Coleraine. Dearly beloved wife of the late Thomas (Tommy), loving mother of Vivienne and Raymond, much loved mother-in-law of Nigel and Anne, adored granny, great-granny and great-great-granny. The death has occurred of the late Mary Ann (Maureen) McCallion (née Nash), April 4 2025, peacefully at Oakleaf Care Centre, beloved wife of the late Aelx, 91 Liscloon Drive, loving mother of Willie and Noel and a much loved grandmother and sister. Her remains will be reposing in her home. Funeral from there on Monday at 9.30am for 10o’clock Requiem Mass in Our Lady of Lourdes Church, Steelstown. Interment afterwards in the City Cemetery. Queen of the Most Holy Rosary pray for her.

Emily Higgins Sufferin (née Creighton), 66 Leckagh Drive, Magherafelt

The death has occurred of the late Emily Higgins Sufferin (née Creighton), April 4 2025, (peacefully) at her home, 66 Leckagh Drive, Magherafelt, dearly loved Wife of Albert, much loved Mother of Richard, Gary, Jonathan and Cheryl, a dear Mother-in-Law of Gayle, Arlene, Geraldine, Doley and also Karen, proud Granny of Michael, Linzy, Aimee, Faye, Emily, Kiefer, Savannah, Corey and Kadyn, devoted Great Granny of Oliver, Grace and Logan and dearest Sister of Hazel and the late Charlie, Eileen, Betty and Clark.
