Edward (Eddie) Grant, 60 Caw Hill Park, Derry

It is with deep sorrow and great sadness that we announce the passing of Edward (Eddie) Grant, peacefully at Altnagelvin Hospital on March 28 2025. Late of 60 Caw Hill Park and formerly of 12 Limewood Street. May he rest in peace. Beloved father of Sean, Eddie, Emma and Demi. Loving grandfather of P.J and Aaron. Deeply regretted and sadly missed by all of his wider family circle and friends. Eddie’s remains will be reposing at his late residence, 60 Caw Hill Park from 1.00pm until 9.00pm today (Saturday, March 29) and from 11.00am until 9.00pm on Sunday, March 30. Funeral leaving from there on Monday, March 31 at 9:20am for 10.00am Requiem Mass in St. Eugene’s Cathedral. Jinny Kenyon (née Canning), Maryland (formerly of 92 Rinmore Drive, Derry)

The death has occurred of the late Jinny Kenyon (née Canning), passed away on January 24 2025 at St Mary's Hospital, Maryland (Formerly of 92 Rinmore Drive). Beloved mother of EJ. Loving grandmother of Sean, Brett, Ryan, Bradleigh and Alex. Great grandmother of Skye. Mother in law of Stephanie. Beloved daughter of the late Rose and Robert. Dear sister of Sammy, Rosaleen, Daniel, Susie, Martin, Angela, Ann, Paul and the late Bridie, Paddy, Mary and Robert. Dear Auntie to all her nieces and nephews. Jinny's ashes will be reposing at her brother Martin's home, 3 Swilly gardens, Creggan. Those wishing to pay their respects to Jinny are welcome to call on Monday, March 31 between 4.00pm and 9.00pm and Tuesday, April 1 from 10.00am to 10.00pm. Jinny's Requiem Mass will take place on Wednesday, April 2 at 10.00am in St Mary's Church Creggan . Maura McEleney (née Doran), Derry

The death has taken place of the late Maura McEleney (née Doran), March 28 2025, peacefully at Ardlough Care Home (formerly of Judge’s Road, Derry, Buncrana and Mayo) beloved wife of the late Peter, loving mother of Nuala, Margaret and the late Eilish and dear sister of Nuala, PV, Henry, Winnie and the late Tony Doran. Friends and neighbours are welcome to pay their respects at W J O’Brien & Son’s Funeral Home, 110 Clooney Road, Eglinton on Saturday from 3.00pm - 4.00pm. Requiem Mass will be celebrated in St Mary’s Church, Ardmore on Monday at 11o’clock. Interment afterwards in the adjoining cemetery. Queen of the Most Holy Rosary pray for her.

Francis Martin (Frankie) McLaughlin, 22 Elaghmore Park, Derry

May he rest in peace. Beloved husband of Christine. Devoted father of Sean Pól, Elisha and Stephanie. Dearest father-in-law of Declan and Leon. A much loved grandfather to all of his grandchildren. Letty Murphy, 75 Woodland Park, Kilrea

We regret to inform you that the death has taken place of Letty Murphy, March 28 2025, peacefully, at her home, 75 Woodland Park, Kilrea, (aged 104 years), dearly beloved wife of the late Thomas, much loved mother of Edwin, Tom and the late Wilbert and John and a dear mother-in-law, grandmother, great grandmother and sister. At her request a service of committal will take place at St. Patrick's Parish Churchyard on Monday at 11.30am. House private. No flowers please. The death has taken place of the late Anthony O’Kane, Magherafelt (and formerly Gulladuff), March 28 2025, peacefully surrounded by his loving family. Much beloved husband of Lorraine (née Johnston)  loving father of Hannah and Tony and grandfather of Finneas and stepfather of Lauren and Marc. Much loved son of the late Tony and Annie O’Kane and brother of Mairead Devlin, Stephen, Paula O’Hagan (Finnbarr) and the late Janet Downey. House strictly private. The death has taken place of the late Samuel Ypung, passed away peacefully at his home, 23 Carlaragh Road, Limavady on March 27 2025, surrounded by his loving family. Much loved husband of Linda. Dear Father of Sam (Nuala) and Alan (Janet). Devoted Grandfather of Lana, Matthew, Abbie, Charley and Freddie. Brother of Libby, John, Karen, Keith and Roy and the late Raymond , Margaret and Denise.
