The death has taken place of the late Wilbur Bownes, March 16 2025. (peacefully) at Glenkeen Nursing Home, dearly beloved husband of the late Margaret, formerly of Sersons Road, Magherafelt, much loved and devoted father of Julie, Louise and Rosalyn, dear father-in-law of Paul, Ian and Jonathan, loving granda of Mica, Miles, Ross, Luke, Lucy, Ruby and Jake and dearest brother of Albert, Norman and Henry. Funeral service in Knockloughrim Presbyterian Church on Thursday (March 20) at 2.00pm followed by burial in the adjoining Churchyard. Family flowers only please. Donations in lieu, if desired, for The Boys’ Brigade Northern Ireland, payable to Garvin’s Funeral Service (Donation’s A/c), 15 Ballyronan Road, Magherafelt, BT45 6BP. Lovingly remembered by his family and the entire family circle. “The Lord is my Shepherd” Psalm 23 v 1

Patricia (Pat) Kyle (née Nolan), 61 The Branch, Derry

The death has occurred of the late Patricia (Pat) Kyle (née Nolan), March 16 2025, peacefully, after a long illness, at her home, 61 The Branch, surrounded by her loving family, (formerly of Central Drive), beloved wife of Joe, loving mother of Seán, Joseph, Leeann and Rachel, dear mother-in-law of Dan and Muna, devoted grandmother of Rebecca, Caleb and Dillon, darling daughter of the late Spike and Annie Nolan, cherished sister of Jeanie (Jane), Hugh and the late Michael and Andy. Dearly loved and will be sadly missed by the wider family circle. Pat will be reposing at her home. Funeral leaving her home on Wednesday, March 19 at 9:20am to Holy Family Church, Ballymagroarty for Requiem Mass at 10.00am. Frances Eveline Loughrey (née Lennox, Magherafelt

It is with regret we announce the passing of Frances Eveline Loughrey (née Lennox), March 15 2025, (peacefully) at Brooklands Care Home, Magherafelt, in her 98th year,, dearly beloved wife of the late Joe, much loved and devoted mother of Lillian and the late Stewart, dear mother-in-law of Gregory and the late Sally, loving grandma of Alexander, Charlotte, Patrick, Morgan and Blake and dearest sister of Tom and the late George, Vena, Dorothy and Ida. Dan McMullan, Lavey

The death has occurred of the late Dan McMullan, March 17 2025, peacefully at Antrim Area Hospital surrounded by his loving family. Beloved husband of Patricia (née Downey). Much-loved father of Owen, David, Danna Hassan and Mervin. A devoted grandfather and great grandfather. Brother of Harry and the late Willie John, JP,  Phil and Colm. Family time form 10.00pm to 11.00am. Funeral arrangements will be updated once they are available. Family flowers only. Donations in lieu, if desired, to Marie Currie (NI). John Nicholl, 15 Fulton Park, Limavady

The death has taken place of the late John Nicholl, Passed away peacefully at Altnagelvin Hospital surrounded by his loving family on March 17 2025. Much loved husband of Jean, loving father of Elizabeth, John, Joan, Geoffrey, Brian, Richard, Jennifer, Joyce and the late Christopher, also a dear Father in law, Grandfather and Great grandfather and Brother of Sadie. All welcome to call at the family home, 15 Fulton Park, Limavady. Funeral will leave his late home on Wednesday at 2.30pm for graveside service in Ballykelly Presbyterian Church at 3.00pm all welcome to call at the home and attend the Funeral. George William Brian Taggart, Swatragh

It is with deep regret we announce the passing of George William Brian Taggart, March 14 2025, at his home (Swatragh). Loving partner of Mary, father of Iain and brother of Janella, Derek and John. Service of thanksgiving will be held in First Broughshane Presbyterian Church at 2.00pm on Wednesday, March 19 2025. Deeply regretted by the family circle.
