Janet Butcher (née Toms), late of Ballybogey and Portstewart

It is with deep regret we announce the passing of Janet Butcher (née Toms), died February 20 2025, peacefully at hospital, late of Ballybogey and Portstewart. Dearly loved wife of Terry, loving daughter of Hazel and the late Ewart; step-mother to Roisin (Shane) and Terri-Ann (Paul), and grandchildren Jack, Emily, Anna and Shannon; loving sister of Alan (Julie), Derek (Ruth) and Alison (Andrew) and a dear aunt. Family flowers only please. Service of Thanksgiving in Portstewart Presbyterian Church on Sunday at 1.30pm, followed by interment in Portstewart Cemetery. Donations, if wished, for RNLI (Portrush Branch), c/o Hugh Wade and Son, 3 Upper Abbey Street, Coleraine, BT52 1BF or online at www.hughwadefuneraldirectors.com. Lovingly remembered and will be sadly missed by her family and friends.

Derek Irwin, 44 Drumavalley, Bellarena

We regret to inform you that the death has taken place of Derek Irwin peacefully at home on February 20 2025, may he rest in peace. Late of 44 Drumavalley, Bellarena, Limavady, Co Derry. Husband of the late Hilda R.I.P, father of Seamus and the late Tracey, Stephen and Jeanette R.I.P. Dear son of the late Vincent and Margaret R.I.P and brother of Vincent, Ethna, Sean , Eugene , Damien, Colin , Roisin, Lorraine , and the late Bernadette, Sonia and Darrell R.I.P, a grandfather and great grandfather . Reposing at his late home, funeral on Sunday, February 23 2025, leaving his late home at 10.15am for 11.30am Requiem Mass in St Patrick’s Church Dungiven. Rhoda Jones (née Stewart), 1 Westland Road, Magherafelt

The death has taken place of the late Rhoda Jones (née Stewart), February 21 2025, (peacefully) at Antrim Area Hospital, (surrounded by her loving Family), dearly beloved Wife of the late Ivor, 1 Westland Road, Magherafelt, much loved Mother of Darren and Tracey and Daughters-in-Law Mairèad and Sarah, much adored Granny of Dylan, Amber, Caleb and Elijah and dearest Sister of May, Marjorie, Robert James and Clarke. Family and Friends welcome at the Family home on Saturday (February 22) and Sunday (February 23) from 1:00pm - 9:00pm. Funeral will take place from her home on Monday, February 24 at 12:15pm, to First Magherafelt Presbyterian Church for service at 1:00pm, followed by burial in the adjoining Churchyard. We regret to inform you of the sudden passing of Annie McWilliams (Kilrea), died February 20 2025. N.B.
