Mary Valentina (Val) Boyce (née Ryall), Moneymore

The death has taken place of the late Mary Valentina (Val) Boyce (née Ryall), February 12 2025, (peacefully) at Antrim Area Hospital, Mary Valentina (in her 95th year), surrounded by her beloved Family, dearly beloved Wife of the late Bob, Carrydarragh Road, Moneymore, devoted Mother of Robert and Maurice, a dear Mother-in-Law of Sadie, dearest Sister of Joan, Isabelle and Nora, much loved Grandmother of Linda, Mark, Robert, Emma, Maria and Curtis and a loving Great Grandmother and Great Great Grandmother. All welcome at Robert and Sadie's home, 10 Lismoney Road, Moneymore. Funeral service will take place at the home on Saturday, February 15 at 1:00pm, followed by burial in First Moneymore Presbyterian Churchyard (at 1:45pm approx.). Family flowers only please. Andrew Charles (PJ) Harper, Derry

The death has occurred of Andrew Charles (PJ) Harper, February 13 2025, Peacefully at Altnagelvin Hospital (surrounded by his loving family) much loved partner of Kathy, devoted dad of Lita (Louise), Lombardo (Romaine), D’arcy and Phoenix (Abbey), an adored granda of Brooklyn, Esmé, Drew and Arlo, dearest brother of Richard and William. Funeral arrangements later. Stewart Lee, 2 Sandelwood Avenue, Coleraine

The death has taken place of the late Stewart Lee, February 13 2025, peacefully at his home, 12 Sandelwood Avenue, Coleraine. Annette McGonagle (née Jewell), 38 Fountain Hill, Derry

We regret to inform you that the death has taken place of the late Annette McGonagle (née Jewell), February 13 2025, beloved wife of the late Denis, loving mother of Michael, Denis and Neil, mother-in-law of Laura and Kerry, devoted grandmother of Michaela, Amber, Brian, Joseph, Megan. Caolan and the late Denis and cherished great-grandmother of Erin and Eva. Her remains will be reposing in her home, 38 Fountain Hill. Funeral from there on Saturday at 9.30am for 10o’clock Requiem Mass in St Columb’s Church, Chapel Road. Interment afterwards in St Mary’s Cemetery, Ardmore. Queen of the Most Holy Rosary pray for her.

Anthony (Tony) McLaughlin, 24 Parnell Street, Dublin 1 (formerly Derry)

It is with deep sorrow and great sadness that we announce the passing of Anthony (Tony) McLaughlin, peacefully at Dublin Mater Hospital on February 11 2025. Late of 24 Parnell Street, Dublin 1 and formerly of 6 Edenmore Street, Derry. May he rest in peace. A father, grandfather and brother. Deeply regretted and sadly missed by all of his wider family circle and friends. Tony’s remains will be reposing at the McClafferty Funeral Home and Chapel of Rest from 6.00pm until 9.00pm this evening (Friday, February 14). Philomena (Phil) Maynes, Magherafelt

We regret to inform you that the death has taken place of the late Philomena (Phil) Maynes, peacefully at Brooklands Nursing Home Magherafelt (formerly of Ashgrove Park, Magherafelt), February 12 2025, Beloved daughter of the late James and Rose (R.I.P). Precious sister of Tony, James, Pat also the late Anna (McNicholl), John, Tommy and baby Rachel who died in infancy also sister in-law of Tom, Margaret and Kathleen. Philomena's remains will repose at her sister Pat’s family home (5 Glenburn Place, Magherafelt, BT455BL) on Friday (February 14) from 12:00noon - 9:00pm. Funeral from there on Saturday (February 15) at 10:25am going to Church of Our Lady of the Assumption, Magherafelt for 11:00am Requiem Mass, followed by burial afterwards in St. John’s Milltown Cemetery. Our Lady Pray for her.Philomena's Requiem Mass can also be viewed using the link: https://www.magherafeltparish.org/webcam/. Deeply regretted and sadly missed by her sister, brothers, brother in-law, sisters in-law, nieces, nephews, grandnieces, grandnephews, neighbours, friends and her wider family circle. David Tracey, Derry

The death has taken place of the late David Tracey, February 13 2025, peacefully in Templemoyle Care Home, Eglinton, beloved son of the late John Gerard and Dolores, formerly of Top of the Hill, loving father of David and Gerard, dear brother of Brendan and Sean and a much loved uncle. Everyone is welcome to pay their respects at W.J. O’Brien & Son’s Funeral Home on Friday from 8.00pm – 10.00pm. Requiem Mass will be celebrated in The Church of the immaculate Conception, Trench Road on Saturday at 11o’clock.
