The death has occurred of Des Casey, Peacefully in University Hospital Limerick surrounded by his loving family, (Cronan Lawn, Shannon, Clare / Creggan, Derry). Deeply missed by his heartbroken family, wife Yvonne, daughters Denise, Joanne and Marie, grandchildren Conor, Kelci, Casey and James, sister Kathleen, brothers John, Liam and Michael, best friend Brendan, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, extended family, neighbours and his many friends. May his gentle soul Rest in Peace. Des will repose in McMahons Funeral Home. Arriving for Funeral Mass in Ss John and Paul Church on Sunday (February 9) at 1:30pm followed by cremation in Shannon Crematorium at 3.00pm. Family flowers only. Vincent (Vinny) Cunningham, 3 Demesne Gardens, Derry

It is with deep sorrow and great sadness that we announce the passing of Vincent (Vinny) Cunningham, peacefully at Altnagelvin Hospital, surrounded by his loving family on February 8 2025. Late of 3 Demesne Gardens. May he rest in peace. Beloved husband of Deborah. Devoted father of Niall and Orla. Loving granda of Casey, Saorlaith and Aoibhín. A much loved son of the late Mary and Phonsie. Dearest brother of Ann, Helen, Daniel, Jim, Maria, Louise and Leeanne. Deeply regretted and sadly missed by all of his wider family circle, friends and neighbours. Vinny’s remains will be reposing at his late family residence, 20 Inishowen Gardens from 12pm today (Sunday, February 9). Dylan Ryan Doherty, 5 Southway, Derry

The death has taken place of the late Dylan Ryan Doherty, Suddenly on February 7 2025. Beloved son of Ryan and Joanne. Loving brother of Ethan and Lily. Beloved grandson of Billy McLaughlin, Caroline Doherty and Elizabeth Toland.  Funeral arrangements later from his parents home, 5 Southway, Brandywell. Philip Doherty, 6 Glenullin Road, Garvagh

The death has occurred of the late Neil Donaghey, February 7 2025, peacefully at Longfield Care Home, formerly of Westway, Creggan and Foyle Fold. Deeply regretted by all his family and friends. Thomas Harper, Ashfield Road, Greysteel

The death has taken place of the late Thomas Harper, February 8 2025 peacefully at Owenmór Care Centre, late of Ashfield Road, Greysteel and formerly of Claudy, beloved son of the late Margaret and Jimmy, loving brother of the late Susan, Bridget, Peggy, Mary, Johnny and Blossom and a much loved uncle and great-uncle. Kathleen Heraty (née Cassidy), Roigh, Liscarney, Westport (formerly Greysteel)

The death has occurred of Kathleen Heraty (née Cassidy), February 6 2025 (in her 97th year), Roigh, Liscarney, Westport, Co. Mayo and formerly Greysteel, Co. Derry. Predeceased by her husband Tom, parents, brothers and sisters. Kathleen will be sadly missed by her loving family Michael (Mary), Tommy (Patsy), James (Mary), Johnnie (Noreen), Mary McGing, (Tommy), Colm (Marie), Padraic (Pauline), Geraldine Tuffy (Tommy), sister-in-law Violet, 27 grandchildren, 44 great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, relatives, neighbours and a large circle of friends. Sr Elizabeth Mullan, Canterbury (formerly Limavady)

It is with deep regret we announce the passing of Sr Elizabeth Mullan, January 30 2025, peacefully at St Anne's Convent, Staines Hill, Sturry, Canterbury (formerly of 29 Windyhill Road, Artikelly, Limavady), a member of the order of the Sisters of Our Lady of the Missions, beloved daughter of the late Bernard and Brigid. Pre-deceased by her sisters Agnes, Molly (William), Sr. Bridget, Bernadette, Kathleen (Bernard), Gertrude, Rose and Philomena (Harry) and her brothers Thomas (Bridget) and Hugh and survived by her nieces, nephews, sister-in-law Veronica, wide family circle and the Sisters of the Lady of the Missions.
