It is with deep regret we announce the death of the late David Blackery, February 6 2025, beloved husband of Rosie (Mullan) and the late Mary Blackery, loving father of Lisa, Gareth, Nina and Emma, devoted grandfather of Robyn, David, Matthew, Clíona, Dara, Amelia, Odhrán, Fiachra and Muireann, and the late Chloe, much loved great-grandfather of Isla and Roman and dear brother of Jean. All are welcome to pay their respects at W J O'Brien & Son's Funeral Home, 110 Clooney Road, Eglinton, BT47 3PU, on Friday from 6.00pm - 10.00pm. Requiem Mass will be celebrated in Our Lady of Lourdes Church Steelstown on Saturday at 10o'clock. Cremation will take place at a later date. Family flowers only please. Donations in lieu of flowers, if wished, to Alzheimers UK. Sacred Heart of Jesus have mercy on his soul.

Sadie Borthwick (née McDaid), Australia

We regret to inform you of the death of Sadie Borthwick (née McDaid), Died peacefully in Australia. Beloved wife of David and Mother of Tara. Daughter of the late James and Mary, sister of Myra, Pat, Aidan, Bridie, Rita, Kathleen and Seamus and a much loved aunt to all her nieces and nephews. Mass for the happy repose of her soul will be held in St Patrick's Church Pennyburn on Wednesday, February 12 at 7.00pm. Sacred heart of Jesus have mercy on her. Mary queen of peace pray for her.

Harold Dixon, Coleraine

The death has taken place of the late Harold Dixon, Died February 5 2025, surrounded by his loving family at the Bohill Care Home, Coleraine. Harold (formerly of Dixons, Coleraine), devoted husband of Joan, much loved father of Barbara (David), Janet (Bryan) and Ian (Kathy); adored grandfather of William, Andrew, Adam, Caroline, Fiona and Charlotte. House Private. Family flowers only please. Service of Thanksgiving in New Row Presbyterian Church, Coleraine on Saturday at 2.00pm. Lovingly remembered by all his family and friends.

Paula Elizabeth Thelma Jackson (née Knox), 51 Ballydermott Road, Bellaghy

We regret to inform you that the death has taken place of the late Paula Elizabeth Thelma Jackson (née Knox), February 5 2025 (peacefully) at her home, 51 Ballydermott Road, Bellaghy. Beloved wife of Samuel, loving mother of Lisa, David, Lesley and Laura, much loved sister of Myrtle, Jim and Gareth, mother-in-law of Ali, Lois, Ian and Ryan and proud grandmother of Angus and George, Klara, Eden and Sam, Isabel and Sadie and Ossie. All will be welcome at the family home from 12noon to 9.00pm on Friday. Funeral from her late residence on Saturday, February 8 at 1.15pm for service of thanksgiving in Bellaghy Presbyterian Church at 2.00pm approximately. May she rest in peace. Formerly of 85 Crockmore Road, Craigbane, Claudy, Co Derry. Beloved wife of Jez and devoted mother of Niamh and Meabh. Loving daughter of Jenny and the late Michael R.I.P and dear sister of Siobhan, Jennifer and Sinead. Reposing at her sister Siobhan’s home, 73 Gortscreagan Road, Claudy, BT47 4AR from 2.00pm until 10.00pm on Friday, February 7. The death has taken place of the late Sadie Watson (née Hull), February 6 2025 beloved wife of Jeff, 79 Brockagh Road, Eglinton, loving mother of Sean, Eamon, Kevin, Caroline and Edward, mother-in-law of Shona, Angelique and Ann and a much loved grandmother, great-grandmother, sister-in-law and aunt. Her remains will be reposing in her home. Funeral from there on Saturday at 2o’clock for 2.30pm Requiem Mass in St Mary’s Church, Tamnaherin. Interment afterwards in the adjoining cemetery. Queen of the Most Holy Rosary pray for her.
