We regret to inform you that the death has taken place of the late Alan Harding Glass, February 4 2025, peacefully at Slieve Na Mon care home Omagh, beloved Husband of the late Gillian and a dear Brother and Uncle. Funeral leaving his late home, 9 Woodburn Park at 11.30am on Friday, February 7 for 12noon service in Rossdowney Meeting Room followed by burial in Altnagelvin Cemetery. Alexander (Alex) Hutchison, 17 Glenrandel, Eglinton

The death has taken place of the late Alexander (Alex) Hutchison, February 4 2025, peacefully at Altnagelvin Hospital, beloved husband of Violet, 17 Glenrandel, Eglinton, loving step-father of Roberta, Glynis, Hilary and Gillian, father-in-law of Jim, James, William and Bert, dear brother of Jim, Rosemary and John and a much loved grandfather, great-grandfather, great-great-grandfather, brother-in-law and uncle. House private please. Everyone is welcome to pay their respects at W J O’Brien & Son’s Funeral Home, 110 Clooney Road, Eglinton, BT47 3PU on Wednesday from 7.00pm – 9.00pm. Funeral service will take place in St Canice’s Parish Church, Eglinton on Saturday at 2.00pm. Robert James (Bobby) Logan, Derry

It is with regret we announce the passing of Robert James (Bobby) Logan, February 3 2025, Peacefully at Altnagelvin Hospital (surrounded by his loving family in his 96th year) dearly loved husband of the late Phyllis, much loved dad of Lorraine and David, loving father-in-law of Hugh and Ann, adored grandfather of Craig, Aaron, Neil, Rebekah, and great-grandfather of Theodore, Casper, Elayna, and Rory, dearest brother of Kay, (Scotland). Service of Thanksgiving in D & R Hay, & Sons Funeral Directors, 24A, Church Road, Altnagelvin, Derry BT47 3QQ on Thursday, February 6 at 10.30am followed by burial in Ballyoan Cemetery. Family flowers only donations in lieu if desired to Alzheimer’s Society c/o Ruth Hay, Funeral Director, (address as above). Everyone is welcome to call at the funeral Home on Wednesday from 11.00am until 1.00pm and evening from 6.00pm until 8.00pm. Dearly loved and will be sadly missed by his entire family circle. Eileen Matilda McBride (née McFaull), 76 Union Street, Coleraine

The death has taken place of the late Eileen Matilda McBride (née McFaull), February 3 2025 (peacefully) at Causeway Hospital, 76 Union Street, Coleraine. Dearly loved wife of Jackie and a much loved mother, mother-in-law, grandmother, sister and aunt. Service in Murdock’s Funeral Home 2A Windsor Avenue, Coleraine on Thursday at 11.00am followed by interment in Coleraine Cemetery. House private. Susan McEldowney (née Convery), 46 Magherafelt Road, Draperstown

The death has taken place of the late Susie McEldowney (née Convery, The Hollow), died February 3 2025, peacefully at home in the loving care of her family. Beloved wife of the late Peter and much loved mother of Pete, the late John, Cora, Lelia and David. Dear mother-in-law of Brendan McErlean and cherished granny of Lucy Rose. Sister of Charlie and the late Mary Cudden, John, Peter and Mick. Susie will be sorely missed by her sons, daughters, son-in-law, grand daughter, brother, brother-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces and Julie, Matty and Ben. Funeral from her late residence, 46 Magherafelt Road, Draperstown on Thursday, February 6 at 10.30am for 11o’clock Requiem Mass in the Holy Rosary Church. Burial afterwards in Straw Cemetery. Sacred heart of Jesus have mercy on her soul.

Patrick Joseph McGlone (Joe), Islington, London (Formerly of Moneymore)

The death has taken place of the late Patrick Joseph McGlone (Joe), died on Thursday, January 30 2025, formerly of Hammond Street, Moneymore. Son of the late John and Mary McGlone. Loving father of Karen and Clare, Grandfather of Hunter, Lucy and Liam and Great Grandfather of Betsy and Jimmy. Beloved brother of Tom (Muriel), Colum, Laurence and Michael (Kate). Very deeply regretted by his nieces and nephews and the entire family circle. Funeral arrangements to follow.

The death has occurred of the late David Martin, February 2 2025, at home, 19 Benview Estate, Coshquin , beloved husband of the late Noelle, loving Father of Paul, Natasha and Tanya, dear Father in law of Liam and a devoted Grand Father of Alexandra, Dakota, Bonnie, Colby and Loghan.
