Pat Cowley, 33 Aberfoyle Crescent, Derry
It is with deep sorrow and great sadness that we announce the passing of Pat Cowley, peacefully at home after a short illness on January 31 2025. Late of 33 Aberfoyle Crescent. May he rest in peace. Beloved husband of Christine. Devoted father of Eoghan, Clare, Deirdre and the late Jennifer. Dearest father-in-law of Paddy and Tuyet. Loving granda of Louis, Sadie and Sally. A much loved brother of Margaret, Marie, Breege and the late Gemma. Deeply regretted and sadly missed by all of his wider family circle, friends and neighbours. Pat remains will be reposing at his late residence, 33 Aberfoyle Crescent from 11.00am today (Saturday, February 1). The death has taken place of Willie (Liam) Kelly, January 31 2025, at his home, 56 Stoneypath, Newbuildings and formerly of Kerrykeel. Beloved husband of Mary, much loved father of Malachy, Rosalynn and Ashling, father-in-law of Sinead, Jonny and Dave, dearly loved grandfather of Piper, Jack, Ryan and Niamh and brother of Teresa, Eamon and the late Michael and Anthony. Reposing at his home on Saturday (February 1) from 12noon. Funeral leaving his home on Monday (February 3) at 10.45am for Requiem Mass in St Eugene’s Cathedral at 11.30am. The death has occurred of the late Bert Linton, January 31 2025, peacefully at his home, 83 Edenbane Road, Garvagh, dearly loved husband of Marianne, devoted father of Philip and Mervyn, father in law of Wendy and Gayle, grandfather of Tommie and Charlotte, Brother of Hazel.
