Daniel (Danny) Ayling, Derry

We regret to inform you that the death has taken place of the late Daniel (Danny) Ayling, January 13 2025, peacefully at Owenmór Care Centre, beloved husband of the late Theresa, loving father of Sadie, Majella, Martin, Margaret, Dolores and Frankie, a devoted grandfather, great-grandfather, great-great-grandfather and dear brother of the late Florence, Jimmy, Sally and Willie. His remains will be reposing his daughter’s home, 12 Hollywood Avenue,. Funeral from there on Wednesday at 11.25am for 12o’clock Requiem Mass in St Columb’s Church, Chapel Road. Interment afterwards in the City Cemetery. Family time please from 10.00pm to 11.00am. Sacred Heart of Jesus have mercy on his soul.

The death has occurred of the late Deirdre Burke (née Kelly), January 12 2025, beloved wife of Pat, 138 Lettershandoney, loving mother of Tanya, Tina and Patricia, mother-in-law of Paul, Martin (Deceased), Ronald and Rob, devoted grandmother of Emma, Aoife, Patrick, Paul, Zach, Brody, Alby and the late Jack and Josh, great-grandmother of Neala and Gracie. Deirdre is reposing in her home. Family and friends are welcome to call on Tuesday from 2.00pm - 9,00pm. Requiem Mass will be celebrated in St Mary's Church, Tamnaherin on Wednesday at 1.00pm. Interment afterwards in the adjoining cemetery. Queen of the Most Holy Rosary pray for her.

The death has occurred of the late Evelyn Faith (Eva) Clarke (née Boyle), January 13 2025, (peacefully) at Antrim Area Hospital, surrounded by her loving Family, late of 9 Gulladuff Hill, Magherafelt, beloved Wife of the late Thomas James, much loved Mother of Anne (Leonard), James (Doreen), John (Siobhan) and William, Granny of Lucy, James and Jason (Chloe), Great Granny of Jacob and Hailey, dear Sister of Eileen (Bradley) and the late Vera (Graham), Annie and Matt and a dear Aunt. House private. All welcome at D. Watters Funeral Home, Tobermore on Tuesday evening (January 14) from 5.30pm to 8.30pm. A Service of Thanksgiving for Eva’s Life will take place in St Lurach’s Parish Church, Maghera on Wednesday, January 15 at 1.30pm, followed by burial in the adjoining Churchyard. We regret to inform you that the death has taken place of the late Michael Davitt Collins, January 13 2025, peacefully at Altnagelvin Hospital, (formerly of Dunmore Gardens), beloved husband of Geraldine, loving father of Ann Marie, Michael, Cathy, Ciara and the late Michelle, dear father-in-law to Gerry and Gerard, a devoted grandfather to all his grandchildren, dear son of the late Edward and Margaret (Dottie) and a cherished brother of Myra, Jackie, Eddie, Pat, Gloria, Grainne, Gerard, Alice, Evelyn, Martin, Declan, Damian, Gavin and the late Cíoran and Michelle. Beloved partner of Karim Bengaji and devoted mother of Sofien. Cherished daughter of Gerard and Bernadette. Loving sister of Katrina, Marius, Ailish, Aileen and Kirsty and sister in law of Adrian, Emily and Stephen.
