Eugene (Gene) Devlin, 126 Glen Road, Maghera

The death has taken place of the late Eugene (Gene) Devlin, January 11 2025, peacefully at home surrounded by his loving family. Beloved husband of the late Sheila. Loving father of Gareth (Shelly) and Clare Leahy (Donal). Devoted grandfather of Josh, Jamie, Sheila, Cormac, Caelin, Orla, Sean and Darragh. Son of the late Rose and James Devlin and brother of Seamus. Family time from 11.00pm to 11.00am. Funeral from his home, 126 Glen Road BT46 5JG on Tuesday, January 14 at 10.30am for 11o’clock Requiem Mass in St. Patrick’s Church, Glen. Interment afterwards in adjoining Cemetery. Requiem Mass can be viewed via www.mcn.live/Camera/st-patricks-church-maghera. Family flowers only. Donations in lieu of Marie Curie NI. Sacred Heart of Jesus have mercy on his soul. Deeply regretted by his sorrowing son, daughter, grandchildren, brother, son-in-law Donal, daughter-in-law Shelly, nephews, nieces and family circle. Eugene’s wake will commence on Sunday, January 12 at 2.00pm.

 

Georgina Donnelly (née Feeney), 36 Castle Park, Eglinton

We regret to inform you that the death has taken place of the late Georgina Donnelly (née Feeney), January 11 2025, beloved wife of the late Liam, loving mother of Martin, Paul and Julie, devoted grandmother of Natasha, Tony, Ava, Brodie and Torrin, great-grandmother of Rory and dear sister of Lizzie Mary, Joe and the late Bridget. Her remains will be reposing in her home, 36 Castle Park, Eglinton. Funeral from there on Monday at 11.30am for 12o'clock Requiem Mass in Star of the Sea Church, Faughanvale. Interment afterwards in the adjoining cemetery. Family time please from 10.00pm to 11.00am. Queen of the Most Holy Rosary pray for her.

 

Margaret Douglas (née McLaughlin), 92 Irish Green Street, Limavady

We regret to inform you the death has taken place of Margaret Douglas (née McLaughlin), suddenly but peacefully at home on January 9 2025, may she rest in peace. Late of 92 Irish Green Street, Limavady, Co Derry. Beloved wife of the late Richard R.I.P. Loving mother of Donna, Rodney, Ingrid and Richard. Devoted grandmother of Paul, Richard, Sophie, Sean, Corey, Ben, Conor and Eva. Daughter of the late Annie and William R.I.P and dear sister of Joe, Irene, Patsy and the late Dan, Billy, Brian, May, Jean and Geraldine R.I.P. Deeply regretted by all the Douglas and McLaughlin family circles. Reposing at her late home. Family time 10.00pm to 11.00am. Funeral from her late home on Sunday, January 12 leaving at 10.10am for 10.30am Mass in St Mary’s Church, Limavady. Interment immediately afterwards in the adjoining cemetery. We regret to inform you that the death has taken place of the late Alexander (Eric) McAllister, January 11 2025, peacefully at Causeway Hospital and late of Mountsandel Road, Coleraine, former Manager of Coleraine GPO. Dearly loved husband of Maura, much loved brother of Sean (John) and the late Elizabeth, Bridie and Margaret and a dear brother-in-law, uncle and cousin. Family and friends are welcome to pay their respects at Wades Funeral Home, Coleraine on Tuesday from 6.00pm - 8.00pm. The death has taken place of the late Gillian Nevin, January 10 2025, (peacefully) at her home, Ratheane Private Nursing Home, Coleraine, (late of 14 Newmills Road, Coleraine). Beloved daughter of the late Margaret and Francis (Frankie), much loved niece of John, Anne, Leonard and Tommy and a dearly loved cousin.bService in Ratheane Private Nursing Home, Coleraine on Tuesday at 11.00am followed by interment in Coleraine Cemetery. Irene Walmsley (née McCready, Sandbank Cottages, Derry

The death has taken place of the late Irene Walmsley (née McCready), January 10 2025, Peacefully at Daleview Nursing Home (formerly of Sandbank Cottages) dearly beloved wife of the late Laurence, beloved mother of Lynda (Mick), Lorraine (Andy), Irene and Graham, much loved granny to Emma (Steven), Lee, Craig (Stevie), Christine and Susan (Nguyen Viet), much loved great-granny, dearest sister of Maureen. Service of Thanksgiving in her daughter Lynda’s home, 18 Kilburn Crescent, Waterside, BT47 5PZ on Monday, January 13 at 11.00am followed by burial in Altnagelvin Cemetery.
