We regret to inform you that the death has taken place of John Grieve, suddenly at Altnagelvin Hospital on January 8 2025, may he rest in peace. Late of 35 Derrychrier Road, Dungiven, Co Derry. Beloved husband of Kathleen and loving father of Karen (John), Louise (Paul), Shauna (John), Richard (Donna), James (Nikki), Stephen (Stephanie) and Keith (Jenny-Leigh).
Devoted grandfather of Connor, Mark, Sarah, Callum, Kate, Jayden, Jaxson, Jon, Seán Óg, Niall and Annie and great grandfather of Ená. Loving son of the late John and Sarah-Agnes and dear brother of Kathleen, Pat, Dolores, Noel, Finbarr and the late Margaret and Seamus R.I.P. Wake at the family home will commence on Thursday, January 9 at 11.00am. Family time 10.00pm to 11.00am. Funeral on Saturday, January 11 leaving his late home at 10.10am for 11.00am Requiem Mass in St Patrick’s Church, Dungiven. The death has occurred of the late James (Jim) Harte, January 7 2025, beloved husband of Elizabeth, loving father of Ciaran, Aisling, Emer and the late Jamie, father-in-law of Sharon, Darren and Patrick, devoted grandfather of Aoibheann, Aodhan-James, Brody, Pádraig, Cooper and Eléa, dear brother of Geraldine, Elaine, Gerald, Noeleen and the late Margaret, Tom and Noel and a much loved brother-in-law and uncle. His remains will be reposing in his home, 32 Marianus Park, Hazelbank. Funeral from there on Friday at 11.50 am for 12.30pm Requiem Mass in St Columba’s Church, Longtower. Interment afterwards in the City Cemetery. Family time please from 10.00pm to 12noon. Family flowers only please. The death has taken place of the late Lee McClenaghan, January 8 2025 (suddenly) at his home, 7 Loughinsholin Park, Castledawson, dearly beloved Son of Gordon and the late Louise, cherished Brother of Gordon, Lesley and Michael and a much loved Brother-in-Law of Kyle. House strictly private. Funeral arrangements later. Always loved and remembered by his loving Father, Brothers, Sister, Brother-in-Law and the entire Family Circle. "Till we meet again"

The death has taken place of the late Jim McLaughlin, January 7 2025, peacefully at his home, 5 Lyndhurst Road, Kilfennan, beloved husband of Stella, loving father of Brenda, Terri and James, father-in-law of Gerry, John and Bronagh, devoted grandfather of Niamh, Orlaith and Cara and dear brother of Maureen and the late Margaret. His remains will be reposing in his home . Funeral from there on Friday at 9.20am for 10o’clock Requiem Mass in St Columba’s Church, Longtower. Interment afterwards in the City cemetery. Teresa McLaughlin, Glenburn Way, Limavady

The death has taken place of the late Teresa McLaughlin, January 7 2025, Peacefully at Altnagelvin Hospital. Late of Glenburn Way and Roe Fold, Limavady. Beloved partner of John. Loving mother of Andrea, Majella, and George. A much loved grandmother of Chloe, Logan, Sam, Oliver, Lola and great-grandmother of Eva. Dear daughter of the late Paddy and Tilly. R.I.P. Sister of Patricia, Maria and Martin. Deeply regretted by all the family circle. Margaret (Margie) Nixon (née Kelly), 52 Steelstown Village, Derry

We regret to inform you that the death has taken place of the late Margaret (Margie) Nixon (née Kelly), January 7 2025, loving mother of Patrick, Aislin and Caoimhe, mother-in-law of Darren and Annemarie, devoted grandmother of Layla, Carragh, Saoirse, Aodha and Niamh, much loved daughter of the late Cashel and Michael Kelly and dear sister of Paul, Michael, Aisling and the late Carmel and baby Catherine. Her remains will be reposing in her home, 52 Steelstown Village, from. Funeral from there on Friday at 9.30am for 10o’clock Requiem Mass in St Brigid’s Church, Carnhill. Interment afterwards in the City Cemetery. Family time please from 10.00pm to 11.00am. Queen of the Most Holy Rosary pray for her.

Doyle (Teresa) O'Neill (née Fitzpatrick), Clondermott Park, Derry

The death has taken place of the late Doyle (Teresa) O'Neill (née Fitzpatrick), January 6 2025, peacefully at the Foyle Hospice. Lately of Clondermott Park and formerly of Poplar Road. Beloved wife of the late John, cherished mother of Anne, Carmel, Oonagh, Ciaran and Brian. A loving granny to her nine grandchildren and mother-in-law of Liam, Victoria, Leona and the late Glenn. Devoted sister of Paddy, Anne and the late Peggy, Betty, Mary, Kitty, Bridie, Eddie and Tony. Doyle’s remains will be reposing at her son Brian’s home, 15 Woodlee, Culmore, BT48 8GA. House private from 10.00pm to 12noon. Doyle’s Requiem Mass will take place at 11.00am on Thursday, January 9, at the Church of the Immaculate Conception, Trench Road, followed by burial at Ardmore Cemetery. Her memory will live long for those who knew and loved her.

The death has taken place of the late Robert John (Robbie) Parkhill, January 7 2025, Suddenly at his home, 12 Bann Drive, Irish Street, Waterside, much loved husband of the late Rebecca, (Betty) devoted dad of Margaret, Julie and Keith, loving father-in-law of Gary, Robert and Gemma, adored granda of Daryl, Mark and Megan, great-granda of Ella, Emily and Heidi, dearest brother of Noel, Hilary and the late Jim and Viona, a dear brother-in-law, uncle and great uncle. Service of Thanksgiving in his late home on Saturday, January 11 at 12.00noon followed by burial in Altnagelvin Cemetery. Family flowers only donations in lieu if desired to All Saint’s Clooney Parish Church (cheques made payable to Clooney Parish Select Vestry) c/o Mrs Helen Henderson, 5, Manning Way, Brigade, Derry BT47 6GL. Everyone is welcome to call at the family home on Thursday and Friday from 11.00am until 9.00pm. Dearly loved and will be sadly missed by his entire family circle. “Your presence is missed, but in our hearts you will live forever” “One of life’s true gentlemen “
