The death has taken place of the late Joseph (Joe) Convery (Maghera), January 1 2025, peacefully at home surrounded by his loving family. Much loved husband of Annie. Loving father of Patrick (PC), Margaret Lynch, Joanna, Roisin and Martina Henry. Much loved grandfather of Carleen, Ciara, Ryan, Tara, Erin, Adam and Jonathan. Son of the late Paddy and Rosie and brother of Kate Doherty, Danny, Thomas and the late Pat, Rosella Crilly, Helen Clarke, Anthony, Sean and Infant James. House private from 10.00pm to 11.00am. Funeral from his home, 146 Fivemilestraight, BT46 5JP on Friday, January 3 at 10.30am for 11o’clock Requiem Mass in St Patrick's Church, Glen. Interment afterwards in adjoining cemetery. The death has occurred of the late Joe Dempsey (Aghadowey), Peacefully surrounded by his family in his 101st year, beloved husband of the late Brigid (née Cassidy) and dear mother of John Charles, Gerry, Paul and the late Francis and Paddy and a much loved Granda and great Granda. the death has taken place of the late Eily Gallagher (née McCormick), January 1 2025, peacefully in her 91st year, beloved wife of the late Jim, 51 Faughan Crescent, loving mother of Danny, Geralyn and Marina, mother-in-law of Eddie, devoted grandmother of Laura, Ben, Emma and Shannon, great-grandmother of Aliyagh, Jordan, Shayne, Corah and Hallie and a much loved sister and aunt. Her remains will be reposing in her home. Funeral from there on Friday at 12.30pm for 1o’clock Requiem Mass in St Mary’s Church, Ardmore. Interment afterwards in the adjoining cemetery. The death has occurred of the late Ann McAlister (née Kelly), January 1 2025, peacefully at her home, beloved wife of Jack, 66 Ardnamoyle Park, Shantallow, loving mother of Ciara (McElhinney), Ann (Kennedy), John, Paul, Martin and Maureen (Fitzmaurice), mother-in-law of Robert, Annika, Sineád, Kris and Terri, devoted grandmother of Jane, Emma, Carter, Kate, Albert, Fiona, Jack, Martin, Shay and Freya, daughter of the late Martin and Maureen Kelly and dear sister of Margaret (McNeill), Desmond and the late Maura (Gallagher). Tia McGuinness, 88 Inishcarn Road, Derry

The death has taken place of the late Tia McGuinness, January 1 2025 at Altnagelvin Hospital. Beloved wife of the late Charlie. Loving father of Harry, Martina, Lynn, Terri, Charlie, Declan and the late Jim. Much loved grandmother and great grandmother. Dear mother in law of John, Gerry, Mary, Fiona and Maria. Loved and will be sadly missed by the wider family circle. Patrick will be reposing in Bradley & McLaughlin’s Funeral Chapel on Thursday, January 2 from 4:30pm to 6:30pm. Removal leaving Bradley & McLaughlin’s Funeral Home on Thursday at 6:30pm to St. Eugene’s Cathedral for Requiem Mass on Friday, January 3 at 10:00am. Interment afterwards in the City Cemetery. Devoted Husband of the late Elizabeth (Beth) loving father of Naomi (Mark) David (Laura), Grandfather of Tyler and Mollie, Son of Tessie and the late Stanley, brother of Robert, David, Gordon, Gilbert, Ivan, Roberta, Ian, Jonathan and Julie.
