Samuel (Uel) Adair M.B.E., 58 Stoneypath, Derry

The death has taken place of the late Samuel (Uel) Adair M.B.E., December 31 2024, peacefully at Altnagelvin Hospital, beloved husband of Ina, 58 Stoneypath, loving father of Craig and Sharleen, father-in-law of Tanya, devoted grandfather of Maiya and Dylan and dear brother of Roy, Billy and the late Daphne, Jim and Sadie. Uel’s remains will be reposing in his home on Wednesday and Thursday from 11.00am – 9.00pm. Funeral service will take place in W J O’Brien & Son’s Funeral Home, 110 Clooney Road, Eglinton, BT47 3PU, on Friday at 12.30pm. Interment afterwards in Ballyoan Cemetery. Family flowers only please. We regret to inform you that the death has occurred of the late Ann Wilson Cotter (née Walker), December 28 2024, Peacefully at Altnagelvin Hospital (in the tender loving care of her niece Caroline) late of 14 Lisnamon Court, Waterside, much loved wife of the late Billy, loving mom of Nicola (Steve) and Thomas (Nikki) adored granny of Justin, Samantha and Maddison. Jim Doherty, 34 Knockwellan Park, Derry

The death has taken place of the late Jim Doherty, December 30 2024, peacefully at Oakleaves Care Centre, beloved husband of the late Vera, 34 Knockwellan Park, loving father of Brenda and John, much loved grandfather of Ryan (Claire) and Emma (Stuart), great-grandfather of Ayla, Ellie and Jake, cherished father-in-law of Jim and Alison and dear brother of Pat, Margaret and the late Cecilia and Sr. Anna. His remains will be reposing in his home. Funeral from there on Thursday at 10.30am for 11o’clock Requiem Mass in the Church of the Immaculate Conception, Trench Road. Sarah Jane (Sadie) Haire (née Orr), 32 Mosley Park, Kilfennan, Derry

The death has taken place of the late Sarah Jane (Sadie) Haire (née Orr), December 31 2024, peacefully at her home, 32 Mosley Park, Kilfennan (surrounded by her loving family in her 82nd year) dearly beloved wife of the late John, much loved mother of Jonathan, Gordon and Alison, loving mother-in-law of Michelle and Jeffrey, adored granny of Daryl, Eva, Reece, Erin and John, great-granny of Ella, Emily and Heidi, dearest sister of Isobel and the late Robbie, Lexie and John. The death has occurred of the late Vincent McCauley, December 30 2024, beloved husband of Cathy, 13 Killea Manor, BT48 9XZ, devoted father of Selina Marie, loving son of Virginia and the late Seamus, son-in-law of Celine and the late Charlie Carlin and dear brother of Catherine, Pauline and the late Martin. Sadly missed by his nieces, nephews and brothers-in-law. His remains will be reposing in his home. Funeral from there on Friday, January 3 2025 at 9.20am for 10o'clock Requiem Mass in St Columba's Church, Longtower. Interment afterwards in the City Cemetery. Muranna Moore, 16 Marian Hall, Steelstown Road, Derry

The death has taken place of the late Muranna Moore, December 31 2024, peacefully at Foyle Hospice, loving mother of Leah, beloved daughter of Jim and Mary, cherished sister of Katrina, Connie, Thomas and Jim, and a loving aunt to all her nieces and nephews. Loved and will be sadly missed by her wider family circle and friends. Muranna will be reposing at her home, 16 Marian Hall, Steelstown Road, on Wednesday, January 1 2025 from 1:00pm to 10:00pm and Thursday from 11:00am to 10:00pm. Funeral leaving her home on Friday 3rd. January at 11:20 a.m. to St. Columba’s Church, Long Tower for Requiem Mass at 12noon. Interment afterwards in the City Cemetery.
