Raymond Bradley, 19 Glendara, Derry

The death has taken place of Raymond Bradley, 5th February 2024, peacefully at home. Beloved Husband of Tessa and Loving Father of Rachel, Francesca, Jamie-Lee, Jim, Joseph and Tessa. Devoted Grandfather of Brooke, Jack, Khloe and Raiya (due in May 2024). Dearly loved by all his brothers and sisters. Funeral from his home, 19 Glendara, Derry on Thursday, 8th February at 9.20am to Saint Columba's Church, Longtower for Requiem Mass at 10.00am. Interment immediately afterwards in the City Cemetery. Sacred Heart of Jesus have Mercy on his soul.

 

Sylvia Campbell, 30 Roemill Road, Limavady

The death has taken place Sylvia Campbell, passed away peacefully at her own home, 30 Roemill Road, Limavady on 6th February 2024. Much loved wife of the late Billy, Devoted Mother of Bobby, Tommy, Patricia, Moore, Irene, John, George and the late Alan Glen. Also a loving Mother in law Grandmother, Great Grandmother, Great Great Grandmother. House strictly private. Funeral service will be held in Limavady Free Presbyterian Church on Thursday at 1.00pm followed by burial in Tamlaghtfinlagan Parish Church at 2.15pm. All welcome to attend the Funeral. Family flowers only please donations if desired and cheques payable to Air Ambulance NI and forwarded to Browns Funeral Directors, 21 Aghanloo Ind Est, Aghanloo Road, Limavady. Will be lovingly remembered and sadly missed by her entire family circle.

 

Oisin Hasson, 22 Garvagh Road, Dungiven

We regret to inform you that the death has taken place of Oisin Hasson peacefully at Ardlough Care Home surrounded by his loving family on the 6th of February 2024. May he rest in peace. Late of 22 Garvagh Road, Dungiven, Co Derry. Beloved son of the late Niall and Rosella R.I.P and loving brother of Fiona (Pat), Eugene (Catherine) and Pauline (Geoffrey). Will be sadly missed by all his nieces, nephews, grand nieces and grand nephews and deeply regretted by the entire family circle. Reposing at his late home. Leaving his late home on Wednesday, 7th February at 5.30pm to repose in Church of the Immaculate Conception, Gortnaghey. Requiem Mass will take place there on Thursday, 8th February at 12noon with Interment immediately afterwards in St Patrick’s Church, Dungiven graveyard. Helen McGilloway (née McGinnis), 10 Rockport Park, Derry

The death has occurred of the late Helen McGilloway (née McGinnis), 5th February 2024, beloved wife of Ken, 10 Rockport Park, loving mother of Jacqueline, Siobhan, Fiona, Declan and Ciaran, mother-in-law of Michael, Simon, John and Tracey, devoted grandmother of Brendan, Tom, Lauren, Finn, Jude, Christopher and Mark, great-grandmother of Joshua and dear sister of Ann, Joey, Mary and the late Declan, John and Betty. Her remains will be reposing in her home on Wednesday from 2.00pm - 9.00pm. Funeral from there on Thursday at 11o’clock for 11.30am Requiem Mass in St Columb’s Church, Waterside. Interment afterwards in St Mary’s Cemetery, Ardmore. Family flowers only please. James (Jim) McGowan, Belfield Park, Derry

The death has taken place of James (Jim) McGowan, 5th February 2024, peacefully at Altnagelvin Hospital, (late of Belfield Park, Derry, formerly of Cloghans, Ballina, Co. Mayo), dearly loved and will be sadly missed by Mary, Allison, Melissa and family, Siobhan and family, dear brother of Eileen, Joe, Pauric and the late Tom and Theresa. Will be sadly missed by the wider family circle and his many friends. Jim will be reposing in Bradley & McLaughlin’s Funeral Chapel on Wednesday from 5.00pm - 7.00pm. Funeral leaving Bradley & McLaughlin’s Funeral Home on Thursday, 8th February at 10.20am to St. Patrick’s Church, Pennyburn for Requiem Mass at 11:.00am. Interment afterwards in Rathduff Cemetery, Cloghans, Ballina, Co. Mayo. Sacred Heart Of Jesus have mercy on his soul. Our Lady Of Knock intercede for him.

 

Veronica McKernan, 8 Oak Park, Derrynoid, Draperstown

It is with deepest sadness to announce that death of Veronica McKernan who died 5th February 2024 at Annicliff house Maghera, late of 8 Oak Park, Derrynoid, Draperstown BT45 7HA. Sister of Bernadette , Monica and the late Annie Mullan, James and Patrick. Daughter of the late James and Mary McKernan Drumderg. Godmother of Kieran and aunt of Carmel, Jim Joe, Kevin,Mary and Mary Margaret McGuigan. Veronica was head cook of Moneyneena school for many years. The wakewill be on today (Wednesday, 7th February) until 6.40pm where Veronica will be taken to Moneyneena Chapel and prayers at 7.00pm. Requiem Mass at 11.00am on Thursday, 8th February, burial after in the adjoining cemetery. Refreshments after in the An Rath Dubh. Will be live streamed by Devlin media.

 

John Joseph McLaughlin, Derry

The death has taken place of John Joseph McLaughlin, 31st January 2024, peacefully at his home, in Derry loving father of Shaun, Robert, Anthony and the late Andrew, dear son of the late Patrick (White Pat) and Easter, loving brother of the late Peter, Pat, Ruth, Anna and Margaret. John will be reposing in Bradley & McLaughlin’s Funeral Chapel on Wednesday, 7th February from 2.00pm to 4.00pm. Funeral leaving Bradley & McLaughlin’s Funeral Home on Thursday at 9.30am to St. Eugene’s Cathedral for Requiem Mass at 10.00am, followed by cremation in Lakelands Crematorium Cavan. Sacred Heart Of Jesus have mercy on his soul. Our Lady Of Lourdes intercede for him.

 

Ann Moore (née McLaughlin), 121 Rathlin Drive, Derry

The death has occurred of the late Ann Moore (née McLaughlin), 6th February 2024, peacefully at Altnagelvin Hospital, surrounded by her sons, daughter, brothers and sisters, beloved wife of the late Sammy, loving mother of Colm, Dessie, Jacqueline, Damian, Noel, Paul and the late Eugene, a devoted and loving grandma and great-grandma, dear daughter of the late Jim And Margaret (Peggy). Funeral leaving her home, 121 Rathlin Drive, on Friday, 9th February at 9.20am to St. Mary’s Church, Creggan for Requiem Mass at 10.00am. Interment afterwards in the City Cemetery. The death has taken place of Kathleen Williamson (née McLaughlin), 5th February 2024 (peacefully, after a long illness) at hospital, 47 Loguestown Park, Coleraine and formerly Portrush, loving wife of Charlie, much mother of David and partner Kay, Marian and partner Junior, Linda and partner Mick, Donna and partner Wayne, loving granny of Stephen, Ryan, Sarah, Lauren, Adam, Conor and Alys, great-granny of Farah, Robby, Ruben, Lacie, Iyla, Ella, Marnie and Sophie and beloved sister of Anne and the late Michael and Jean. Funeral from her home on Friday at 10.00am for Requiem Mass in St. Patrick’s Church, Portrush at 10.30am followed by interment in Ballywillan Cemetery. The death has occurred of the late Nora Patricia Wilson (née Quinn), 5th February 2024, (peacefully) at Antrim Area Hospital, Portstewart and formerly Moneymore, beloved Wife of the late Lowry, much loved Mother of Thomas (Jane), Lorna and Edna, devoted Grandmother of Zachary, Daniel and Rebecca and dearest Sister of Kathleen, Beth, Sean, Pauline and the late Maureen, Annie, Brian, Edward, Jessie and Lena. All welcome at D. Watters Funeral Home, Tobermore on Thursday evening (8th February) from 7.00pm - 8.30pm. A private Funeral will take place. Family flowers only please.
