Maureen Campbell (née O'Donnell), 56 Prehen Park, Derry

We regret to inform you that the death has taken place of Maureen Campbell (née O'Donnell), 16th February 2023, at Altnagelvin Hospital, beloved wife of the late James, loving mother of Rosemary, Angela and Joseph, loving grandmother of Jacques, Conrad, Myles and Anna and dear sister of the late Bridgeen. Maureen’s remains will be reposing in her home, 56 Prehen Park, Waterside and will be removed from there on Sunday at 5.00pm to St. Columb’s Church, Waterside for Requiem Mass on Monday at 10o’clock. Esther (O'Donnell) Cooley (née Robinson), 43 Clondermott Park, Altnagelvin, Derry

We regret to inform you that the death has taken place of Esther (O’Donnell) Cooley, (née Robinson) at Altnagelvin Hospital on 16th February 2023, late of 43 Clondermott Park, Altnagelvin, BT47 2LF. Daughter of the late Fredrick and Kathleen Robinson. Beloved wife of the late Fredrick Cooley and loving mother of Linda, Peter, Louise, Tina, Cathy, Mary, Karen, Arron and the late infant Martin. Dear sister of late Ernie Robinson. A devoted grandmother and great grandmother. Was loved dearly by her former late husband Neil O’Donnell. Reposing at her late home. Funeral from her late home on Monday, 20th February leaving at 12.30pm for 1.00pm Service of Thanksgiving in Glendermott Parish Church Hall followed by interment in the City Cemetery. Maurice Corey, 11 Turnaface Road, Moneymore

The death has taken place of Maurice Corey, 16th February 2023, beloved husband of the late Collette nee Bradley and loving father of Sandie and Michelle, son of the late Edward and Grace Corey and dear brother of John. Patricia Doherty (née Devine), 18 Joseph Place, Derry 

The death has occurred of Patricia Doherty (née Devine), 17th February 2023, (peacefully) at Altnagelvin Hospital, beloved wife of Paul, 18 Joseph Place, loving mother of Paul Ruairi, Gemma and Megan, devoted grandmother of Michael and dear sister of Mary, John, Edward, Neil and the late Ann and Gerald. Funeral from her on Sunday at 8.30am for 9o’clock funeral Mass in St Mary’s Church, Creggan. Interment afterwards in the City Cemetery. Queen of the Most Holy Rosary pray for her.

Brian Higgins, 101 Whitehouse Park, Derry

We regret to inform you that the death has taken place of Brian Higgins, (peacefully) at Ward 50, Altnagelvin hospital on 17th February 2023, late of 101 Whitehouse Park. Beloved husband of Ann. Devoted father of Emma, Nicole and Joseph. A much loved father-in-law of Sean and Sandy. Loving Pops of Joshua. Dearest brother of Ciaran, Carole, Kevin, Niall and Clare. Loving son of the late Eddie and Isobel. Deeply regretted and sadly missed by all of his wider family circle, friends and neighbours. Brian's remains will be reposing at his late family home, 101 Whitehouse Park. The death has taken place of David (Davy) Johnston, 17th February 2023, (peacefully) at the Royal Victoria Hospital, dearly loved Husband of Frances, 9 Meeting House Avenue, Maghera, much loved father of Diane, Lisa, Tanya and David, a dear father-in-law of Rodney, Brian, Ben and Danielle, devoted granda of Jamie, Rhys, Charlie, James and Maggie, a loving son of the late James and Mary, dearest brother of Anne, William and Violet and a dear brother-in-law. The death has taken place of Olive Mary McPherson (née Harkens), 17th February 2023, (peacefully) at Melmount Manor Nursing Home, Strabane (in the tender loving care of her family) much loved wife of the late Douglas, devoted mother of Janice, loving mother-in-law of Victor, an adored grandmother of Andrew, dearest sister of Dorothy and the late Hugh, James, Kathleen, Pearl, Eileen, Betty and Alan. Funeral service will take place in her daughter Janice’s home, 77 Abbeydale, Waterside on Monday, 20th February at 12.30pm, followed by burial in Altnagelvin Cemetery.
