Man arrested following Dungiven shooting yesterday (Sunday)
Police received a report that shots had been fired in the Drumrane Road area of Dungiven just after 1pm on Sunday, 14 September.
A 40-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of a number of offences including possession of a firearm with intent to cause fear of violence.
He remains in custody at this time. No injuries were reported; however enquiries into the circumstances surrounding the incident are ongoing.
