Mother and daughter killed in Carndonagh crash will be laid to rest on Monday

Natalie Ella McLaughlin's funeral mass will take place on Monday at 12 noon at Church of the Sacred Heart, Carndonagh, with burial afterwards in the adjoining cemetery

A mother and daughter who were tragically killed in a road traffic collision this week will be laid to rest on Monday.

Six-year-old Ella was pronounced dead at the scene of the crash at Carrowmore, near Glentogher, Carndonagh, on Wednesday evening. Mum Natalie McLaughlin passed away from her injuries at Belfast’s Royal Victoria Hospital less than 24 hours later, on Thursday evening.

Natalie, who was aged in her 20s, was well-known and well-respected in the Carndonagh area, where she worked as a nurse at a local doctor’s surgery.

Their funeral mass will take place on Monday at 12 noon at the Church of the Sacred Heart, Carndonagh, with burial afterwards in the adjoining cemetery.
