The PSNI have urged the public to be mindful of the telephone exchange in the Tirruadh area of Draperstown.

Police say they have received reports of young people cutting holes in the fence, damaging cables and moving dangerous items within the site.

They would like to take the chance to remind the public these systems connect emergency services, hospitals, businesses and families.

If you damage a connection, you could delay a 999 call, a life saving alert, or a loved one trying to reach home.

Calls have been made to respect critical infrastructure.

It is recommended by police if you see any form of antisocial behaviour to report it and stay safe.
