Average house price in Causeway Coast and Glens third most expensive in Northern Ireland

That is according to the latest data from Office for National Statistics

Average house prices in Causeway Coast and Glens are the third most expensive across Northern Ireland, according to the latest government data.

This data was released by the Office for National Statistics on January 15, taking into account the values from the third quarter of 2024.

The average house price in this area is £212,000, which is an increase of 8.4% from last year.

Lisburn and Castlereagh was the most expensive area on average to buy a house in Northern Ireland, with it costing £222,000, while Ards and North Down was in second place after an 8.6% increase from last year, the greatest increase across all the areas in the country, with the average cost now being £216,000.

Derry City and Strabane was the second least expensive area in Northern Ireland to buy a house, with the average house value being £170,000, which is an increase of 4.1%.

Only the area of Armagh City, Banbridge, and Craigavon was cheaper, with an average price of £169,000, which was a 4.4% change from last year.
