New beauty and wellness hub 'The Space' opens at Derry's Ebrington Square

A historic 1841 Grade 2 listed building in Ebrington Square is now home to 'The Space', a revolutionary beauty and wellness hub launched by Ronan Stewart, owner of the award-winning  Atelier Hair salon. The venture aims to foster a community of like-minded entrepreneurs and provide a holistic approach to health, beauty, and wellbeing.

‘The Space’ is a first-of-its-kind venture, opening its doors to the public as a collaborative hub for multiple independent businesses. With a focus on both inner and outer wellbeing, the hub includes services such as lymphatic massage, nail care, hair styling, make-up application, a  hyperbaric chamber, lash services, infrared sauna sessions, yoga and Pilates classes, meditation sessions, reiki healing, and more. 

Ronan Stewart shared: “We wanted to create a hub and community of like-minded entrepreneurs  under one roof, helping people feel great inside and out. This collaborative approach allows us to  offer a diverse range of services that cater to all aspects of beauty and wellness.” 

After a year of major construction, accompanied by significant capital investment, ‘The Space’ is now ready to welcome clients.

The initiative coincides with the emergence of new local  businesses on the square, including the recently opened restaurant ‘The Fold’, further enhancing the vibrancy of Ebrington Square.
