A number of houses have been evacuated in the Bogside area of Derry due to a potential gas leak.
The Northern Ireland Fire and Rescue Service are currently at the scene in the Dove Gardens area.
Local Independent councillor Gary Donnelly has confirmed that the potential leak comes following an early morning car fire in the area which spread to a nearby house.
There are no further details at this time.
