A body has been recovered from the River Foyle after a person was seen entering the water this morning.
A spokesperson for the PSNI confirmed that police received a report at around 10.30am that someone had gone into the River Foyle from the Foyle Bridge.
Volunteers from Foyle Search and Rescue then attended the scene.
The PSNI have now confirmed that a body was then recovered from the water by Foyle Search and Rescue.
The deceased has not been identified as of yet.
