Welcome to February. Does anyone else think January dragged on forever? The new year officially starts now, let's forget January existed. Brighter evenings on the horizon, a slight rise in temperature and what better way to celebrate than kicking off the positive new attitude than celebrating the month of love. With Valentine's Day on 14th February now is a perfect time to celebrate your significant other, your family and friends but most importantly yourself.

Many people consider Valentine's Day to be outdated, primarily due to its perceived commercialization and pressure to conform to a stereotypical romantic ideal, with critics arguing that it can feel forced and not authentically reflect love beyond a single day; however, many still choose to celebrate it as a way to express affection.

The idea of Valentine's Day may be outdated and a capitalist’s dream to some but here if it is a chance to dress up then I’m all for it.

If you are stuck for ideas on what to wear in this season of love, fear not. I have a suggestion for each possible occasion. Whether you are going out for a romantic meal with your significant other, spending it with the gals or visiting the cinema for the new Bridget Jones movie now is the perfect time to beat the winter blues by treating yourself.

Popular trends for 2025 Valentines Day include romantic lace, classic red, edgy leather, corsets, ruffles and all-denim looks. This year is all about confidence and personal style.

Here are my picks of some of the prettiest clothes to feel your best in and strut your stuff whatever you are up to.
