Sixteen-year-old rising star Cora Harkin from Derry is set to release her highly anticipated new single, "Fever Dream," on Friday, October 18 2024 across all major streaming platforms.
This alternative indie pop track marks the fifth release from the talented singer-songwriter.
'Fever Dream' captures the emotional complexity of moving on from a friendship that no longer serves you. With heartfelt lyrics and Cora’s signature indie pop sound, the song blends dreamlike melodies and raw emotion, making it a perfect addition to any playlist.
Cora Harkin has quickly established herself as one of Northern Ireland’s most exciting young artists. She has twice headlined the iconic Nerve Centre in Derry and has graced the stages of major festivals such as Dalfest, warming up the crowd in anticipation of the arrival of headliner Sophie Ellis-Bextor.
In addition, Cora is the proud winner of the Forestside Roots Young Singer Songwriters competition, showcasing her talent and potential on the national stage.
“'Fever Dream' is about that pivotal moment when you realize a friendship isn’t working anymore, and as hard as it is, you need to move on. It’s both a reflection and a release,” Cora shares about the song’s inspiration.
