PET FBI are looking for some big hearted animal lovers to join their team. In a statement on their Facebook page 'PET FBI' the group said: "Due to the ever increasing numbers of dogs that we are being asked to take in and also the number of stray dogs in our care, we are urgently appealing for more foster carers to join our team. "This situation is only going to get worse in the run up to Christmas and again in the New Year. Fostering can be very emotional but equally can be just as rewarding when the foster dog finds his/her forever home." There are some requirements to becoming a foster carer. "All we ask is that you have a secure garden, live within 30 minutes travelling time of Derry to facilitate vet visits to our vets at St Elmo's Veterinary Clinic in the Skeoge Industrial Estate and that you have enough room in your home and love in your heart to help a little one in need. "If you feel you are in a position to come on board with the team as a foster carer, please give us a ring on 07512280760 or pm the page with a few details about yourself, ie if you have your own pets, children, the area you live in and if you have access to transport. "We will always try to match up a foster dog with a home suitable to their needs."
