Floods in Derry: shocking scenes at City of Derry Airport as all flights are cancelled because the building has been flooded

These photos show the aftermath of last night’s torrential rain at City of Derry Airport. The local airport was flooded during the deluge. As a result, all flights in and out of the airport have been cancelled today as a major clean-up operation continues. A spokesperson for the airport said the considerable flooding overnight has resulted in all flights in and out of the airport being cancelled today. The spokesperson advised passengers not to come to the airport and to contact their airline directly about their flights.
