Top local chef Ian Orr to feature on BBC's Saturday Kitchen this weekend

Ian Orr, local ambassador and Chef Patron of Browns Bonds Hill Group, will represent Derry on BBC's Saturday Kitchen Live this Saturday (November 24) at 10am. Ian will feature alongside chef René Redzepi from two-Michelin star restaurant Noma in  Copenhagen, voted the best restaurant in the world on numerous occasions. Ian, also a multi-award-winning chef and household name will tempt the taste-buds of special guest Alfie Boe with his new signature dish. Starring alongside presenter Matt Tebbutt (pictured together above), Ian will be cooking something very special, but it’s top secret for now. Speaking ahead of his Saturday Kitchen appearance, Ian said: “I’m really looking forward to cooking on Saturday Kitchen with such a prestigious line up, this will be my third time on the show and it’s a real privilege to now have a regular slot. “I’m used to cooking live in front of an audience in my restaurants, at regular cooking demonstrations and at the various events I appear at representing our city and Northern Ireland.  The show is a great platform to showcase not only Browns restaurants and our fantastic local produce, but also to put our Legenderry city on the map.”
