Players and coaching staff at Doire Colmcille GAA Club in Derry presenting Gareth McElduff (centre in white), from CLIC Sargent, with two cheques. £1,190 from their “Blitz” and tuck shop and £145 from Gemma Duffy who raised the money through cutting nine and a half inches off her hair which she donated to the Little Princess foundation who make wigs for children with cancer.
The club has fundraised for many charities and continue to support the Caolán McCrossan CLIC Sargent Fund.
Caolan passed away in February last year after a battle from cancer. He was 13 years old.
To date, the fund has raised a phenomenal amount and continues to support CLIC Sargent and its services in the local area.
