PADDY Quigg grabbed some consolation for his exploits over Christmas in Kilrea’s run to the Ulster minor final.
The current college all-star and county minor stepped up to the plate, none more so than in the semi-final win over Carrickmore. Quigg landed two pressure points with Kilrea on the verge of defeat.
At Monday’s Ulster GAA Writers awards evening, Quigg was named by St Paul’s as their player of the tournament.
