We all know how important nutrition is for our bodies and how important it is to ensure we have our recommended daily allowance of fruit and vegetables in out diet.
But have you ever thought what benefits fruit and vegetables do for our skin?
I have chosen a couple of super foods that work wonders for our skin, hair and nails.

• Oranges are rich in citric acid which is brilliant for drying up acne.
• Vitamin C increases the production of collagen, which helps fight the signs of ageing.
• Rich in acids, oranges gently exfoliate the skin, leaving it looking brighter.

• They contain protein which makes our hair follicles stronger. This prevents split ends.
• Applying raw egg yolk to the hair can help with hair growth as it contains essential fatty acids and antioxidants.
• Eggs, olive oil and honey made into a hair mask and applied to the hair and scalp will make dull, dehydrated hair shine.
