Kathleen Cullen (née Griffiths), 70 The Branch, Derry - The death has taken place of Kathleen Cullen (née Griffiths), August 28 2026, peacefully at Altnagelvin Hospital, surrounded by her loving family. Beloved wife of Jim, loving mother of Gareth and Rachel, mother-in-law of Aisling and Fraser, devoted grandmother of James, Ciaran and Cassie, daughter of the late Freddie and Barbara Griffiths, dear sister of Bernadette, Margaret, Claire, Geraldine, Raymond and the late Tony and Freddie. Kathleen will be reposing in her home, 70 The Branch, on Sunday from 12 - 9 p.m. Funeral from there on Monday at 9:30 a.m. for 10 o'clock Requiem Mass in Holy Family Church, Ballymagroarty. William (Willie) Gallagher, Ferguson Street, Derry - It is with deep sorrow and great sadness that we announce the passing of William (Willie) Gallagher, peacefully at the Foyle Hospice on August 28 2026. Late of Ferguson Street, Derry. May he rest in peace. Beloved father of Kelley. Dearest father-in-law of Gerry. Devoted Granda of Ashleigh, Tiarnán and Aodhán. Loving son of the late Matthew and Agnes. A much loved brother of Patsy, Harry, Mary, Bridie, Christine, Matt and Majella. Deeply regretted and sadly missed by all of his nieces, nephews, wider family circle and friends. Willie will be reposing at his daughter Kelley’s home, 11 Orchard Row, Foyle Road. Beloved wife of the late Michael, formerly of Primrose Street, loving mother of Marian, Gloria, Angela, Helena, Adele, Gabrielle and the late Christine, Vincent, Michael, and Michelle and a much-loved grandmother and great-grandmother. Sylvia Isobel Henry (née Spratt), 137 Leckagh Drive, Magherafelt - It is with regret we announce the passing of Sylvia Isobel Henry (née Spratt), August 28 2026, after a brave and courageous fight, dearly loved Partner of Sammy, 137 Leckagh Drive, Magherafelt, much loved Mummy of Amanda, Thomas, Tanya and William, a loving Mother-in-Law of Richard, Tracy, Geoff and Rachel, proud Granny of Erin, Jordan, Morgan, Lauren, Nicole, Mikey, Sophie, Harry and Alfie and dearest Sister of Eleanor, John, Derek, Irene, Jennifer and the late Andy, Thomas, Dorothy, Julia and Bertie. Ann Kearney (née Grieve), 179 Mayogall Road, Portglenone - The death has taken place of Ann Kearney (née Grieve), August 29 2026, (peacefully at home surrounded by her loving family, 179 Mayogall Road, Portglenone), beloved wife of Paddy Joe, much loved mother of Paula (McTaggart), Gareth, Shauna (Donaghy), Claire (McGinnis), Christina and Gerard. Loving sister of Mary, Geraldine, Jacqueline and Kevin, and the late Hugh and Martin. Ann’s wake will officially begin at her late residence on Sunday, August 30 at 10am. Her remains will leave from there on Tuesday, September 1 at 10.20am for 11am Requiem Mass in St Oliver Plunkett’s Church, Clady (which can be viewed via the parish webcam), burial immediately afterwards in St Mary’s Cemetery, Greenlough.
