The following deaths have occurred:-

Marie Bradley (née McOscar), Hazelbrook, Magherafelt - The death has occurred of Marie Bradley (née McOscar), September 10 2026, Hazelbrook, Magherafelt, (peacefully at Massereene Manor Nursing Home, surrounded by her loving family), wife of the late Barney, much loved mother of Declan, Agnes (O’Keeffe), Brian, Bronagh (O’Neill), Sean and Martin and loving sister of Patsy, Kevin, Brian, Charlie, Bea and late Vincent, Dympna and Una. Marie’s wake will officially begin at her daughter Bronagh’s residence 1 Oak Grove, Castleoak, Castledawson, BT45 8RY, on Friday, September 11 at 12noon. Her remains will leave from there on Saturday, September 12 at 1.50pm for 2.30pm Requiem Mass in Church of the Assumption, Magherafelt, followed by burial immediately afterwards in St John’s Cemetery, Milltown. Family time requested please between 10pm and 12noon. Elizabeth (Lily) Doherty (née McClintock), 60 Hatmore Park, Derry - It is with deep regret we announce the passing of Elizabeth (Lily) Doherty (née McClintock), September 10 2026, peacefully at home, (formerly of Queen Street and Little James Street), beloved wife of the late William (Willie), loving mother of Carol, Stephen, Adrian, Declan, Moira and the late Gerard (Gerry), mother-in-law of Liz, Billy, Paula, Laura and Oonagh, a much loved grandmother and great-grandmother and devoted Lala to Aodhán & Tiarnán, dear sister of Billy, Bernie, Ursula, Paul and the late Frances, Anna, Fr John O.F.M, Teresa, Kay, Eugene, Patricia and Barry and a cherished sister-in-law and aunt. Lily will be reposing in her home, 60 Hatmore Park, on Friday from 12 - 10 pm. Funeral from there on Saturday at 9.25 am for 10 o’clock Requiem Mass in St. Eugene’s Cathedral. Patrick 'Patsy' Farren, Mitchell Park, Dungiven - We regret to inform you that the death has taken place of Patrick 'Patsy' Farren, peacefully at Altnagelvin Hospital on September 8 2026. May he rest in peace. Late of Edgewater Care Home and formerly Mitchell Park, Dungiven, Co Derry. Husband of Margaret. Loving father of Michelle, Mark, Kevin and Kieran and grandfather of Brooke, Franchesca, Danae, Acacia and great grandfather of Poppy. Son of the late Thomas and Sarah Farren RIP and dear brother of Brendan, Denis, Frankie, Mary, Josephine, Philomena and the late Jim and Michael R.I.P. Reposing at McLaughlin’s Funeral Home.
